Le Bistro sur la rivière est un bistro français qui a ouvert ses portes en avril 2005. La spécialitée est le steak de bavette, sauce au poivre.

Story

Même après dix ans, la clientèle est toujours au rendez-vous. Tous les artistes, les travailleurs et les familles de coin viennent. Le chef Jean-Louis Brochu élabore à chaque jour des nouveaux plats. Il y a les incontournables; le steak de bavette avec sauce au poivre, le filet mignon d'agneau au fondant de chèvre, le poisson et les pâtes du jour.

Lovely little bistro with excellent food. I highly recommend sitting at the counter where you can see all the delicacies prepared with flare.
Cute place with friendly staff. I like that if you sit at the bar you can see the food being prepared. The prices are high for main dishes. I live a 3 minute walk away, and would only come back if I were going out to dinner with a friend. It's not affordable for a quick bite alone, which is a shame

Best hole in the wall french bistro I've been to... near work, reasonable prices, fresh menu that changes depending on what they can get in market, lovely idea and nice vibe/atmosphere in the restaurant. Would recommend.
Came to this cute warm and charming stop with my daughter. Fresh, well seasoned and hot are the words I would use to best describes the food. No microwave in site, everything cooked on request. Good job to the staff. Thank you I will leave this place with a satisfied palette and stomach
