Really cool restaurant, the kind you would easily think you’d find downtown so it’s nice to have in the West Island. The weekly menu idea is very cool and very good reason to keep going back. The food is top tier you really are getting the most bang for your buck. We tried the soup of the week very tasty and good portion size the flavours complemented each other. Oysters were impeccable. Tried the burger and must be the best burger in the west no contest came with fries that were very crispy! Tried the pasta of the week and it was perfect honestly no complaints. The ambience is very cozy perfect place for a date night. Only con I could say is the service was a big on the slow side but the servers were super nice so it made up for it.
The amount of food was very sufficient, the service was very friendly We ordered the most expensive steak, the same hamburger made of beef, oysters and fried squid The oysters are very fresh, the steak is very suitable, the outside is burnt and the inside is tender, and the side dishes are very abundant. Finally, we packed the steak and French fries separately. Of course, the French fries, you can also exchange them to salads
Where do I even begin. The food here is absolutely delightful. Honestly. My girlfriend and I shared the crabckakes that came with the green apple salad and their own made sauce. Everything worked together in such a pleasant way/taste. For our main course, we both had their pasta dish. It was made with a hot chili peppers sauce that really gave it a nice kick. My girlfriend said it was a little too spicy for her, but she still managed to enjoy the meal to is fullest potential. Lastly, the desert. All I got to say is, Oh my... I had the banana cheesecake that came with salted caramel and walnuts, while she took the Chocolat Pot de Crème. Both desert were absolutely to die for. Yes, it's definitely expensive. For two people, our bill was almost 160$ we didn't have any wine or anything like that. It gets a little loud there, so I definitely recommend reserving a table at 5pm. Overall, this was some of the best food I've had so far overall in Montreal. We don't really eat out much in "fancy" restaurants, but still, this was simply amazing.
All I have to say is WOW! Haven’t been to Bistro Grace since before Covid, and I forgot how good it is. I am a foodie, and I can say it is by far, the BEST steak in the West Island! Started with the blackboard potato leek soup and fried oysters, both great. My wife had the Cod, which she raved about. Great cocktails and wine. Amazing ambience and they take Covid precautions seriously. It was really an amazing night, kudos to the entire team. We cannot wait to come back soon!!
West Island gem, the weekly menu offers great seasonal options. Great restaurant for families when the parents want something a bit fancier. The staff is very kind and they seem proud of what they do rightfully so. It's a bit expensive but worth every penny.
New favorite restaurant in the West Island! Place is cozy inside with nice ambient music. Service was impeccable and the food was delicious. Ali our waiter was such a fun person , very professional and made us feel welcome. The calamari were seasoned beautifully and cooked perfectly. The burger was amazing as were the hand cut fries. My wife had the special cauliflower soup which was also delicious. My favorite though was the key lime tart dessert which was unbelievable. I can’t wait to go back.
Found a gem in the West Island... Such a nice setting, cozy with a friendly staff. The food is simply sublime.
So delicious. Please order off the chalk board menu! It’s delicious!
We arrived on time and we were immediately told that there was a 2 hour time limit on the table. Probably waited between 20 and 30 minutes for our order to be taken, another 15 for bread and another 10 for our drinks. 18$ for a ceasar salad, soup was nice. 3 of us ordered steaks, 2 were definitely undercooked. I had ordered medium rare was closer to bleu. My fries were overcooked fragment pieces. The waitress noticed I think possibly the chef too. I hesitated to allow them to put it back on the grill but finally did as I couldn't eat it. It came back medium, doused in butter ? With a really strong char flavour. Luckily she also brought me fresh fries that were full fries so that is what I ate instead of the 54$ steak. All in all our experience was certainly not worth the 400$+ bill. If you go, stick to the hamburger, it is the most reasonable price and judging by what I saw around us, rhe most popular.
Great restaurant on the west side of Montreal. It's a small kitchen and not where you would expect to find a bistro but I'm happy we went. Food is great, highly recommend the beet salad, oysters were on par, and the salmon tartare was not at all bad. Wine selection is not that great so I wouldn't waste time there.
