Highly recommended. Very cozy place with a very high-quality service. We had different dishesh, their baked cheese as a starter and very good desserts. Give it a try if you are a person who appreciates good Italian food.
My wife and I are passing through the area and had a first rate experience at this restaurant. We picked items from the specials section of the menu and they were all beautifully prepared. Sandra and Alona provided top notch service. Great food, great service and great atmosphere. Wish we had this restaurant back home. Thanks!!
The service and the food where great. We went home stuffed from the generous portions. We definitely will be back. Our waitress, Alana,have was very attentive and everything she recommended turn out to be superb.
Service and personal are very pleasant, but food not so good, just ok, for that price you expect appropriate taste, and Wagyu stake was really tough, we ordered two, medium rare and medium, both were tough.overpriced
We were staying in a cottage in Inverhuron and for our anniversary we drove into Kincardine where we dined at Bistecca. This was our first Covid restaurant experience and I will say that I was quite comfortable with the care the staff took in making sure that we were safe. We started with a Ceasar salad which was beautifully displayed. It was the heart of the romaine split in two with pancetta and a creamy dressing. My main was the special; ravioli with mushroom sauce. Dessert was an apple crisp with ice cream. It was a lovely meal. Our server was Jocelyn, I believe, and she was great.
Best in Bruce. Excellent service. Thoughtful atmosphere. Food was impeccable. Lobster roll special was the best I've ever had. Perfect balance between a buttery roll, delicate lobster, and a hint of lemon. It's difficult to explain just how great they were. Escargot app was also very nice. Steak Frite was a good portion cooked exactly. Special seafood risotto was fully of seafood, delicious, and a very health portion. Deconstructed apple pie for dessert closed a great meal. Moscow mule was nice and spicy with full ginger, and the smoked old fashioned was a flavourful crowd pleaser. Will be back many times!
The customer service here is top notch! The food is a 10/10. Melt in your mouth steaks, creative delicious appetizers and the best creme brule you will ever eat! Highly recommend Bistecca!
Excellent restaurant! Large selection of dishes are tastefully made, great quality. I had the gazpacho, cold tomato soup, paired with lobster ravioli. Limoncello to finish!
A must try in Kincardine! Wonderful experience! Late dinner on Friday night, off season, not very busy. Service professional, friendly and fast. Varied menu with wonderful options: steak, fish, chicken, risotto, liver and onions. I had a delicious calamari appetizer, mahi mahi for main entrée and creme brulee. The creme brulee came surprisingly in a flat dish, which allow for more caramel topping- amazing! Each dish surpassed expectations. For complementary appetizer 2 kinds of hummus : chick pea and eggplant, soft and beautifully spiced served with thin toast. Wonderful wine selection. We chose the house white: an excellent Italian Pinot Grigio. In the end, it was a lot if food, thus the waitress kindly boxed and bagged my next day lunch.
We were very disappointed in the service, the food, portion sizes, lack of options and seating. Waitress was not attentive, never even asked how our food was. Food - pasta was under cooked. Went home hungry since portion sizes were very small for the price. Very few options were provided on the menu. Very few appetizers, limited entrees, couldn't understand what the waitress was telling us while she read off a moveable menu board. Our table was right in the main walkway so was very distracting. For what was to be a nice anniversary dinner for us, we'll never return and will not recommend it.
