I had a rather embarrassing experience (my own fault entirely) with the Birdi Chartered Professional Accountant firm and wanted to express my appreciation for their understanding. To make a long story short, I received a letter from an American insurance company that required a response that I was uncertain how to provide. I sent a message to Birdi explaining the situation and asking for advice. I received a prompt reply answering my question very clearly. Unfortunately, I then discovered that I had misread the original letter - that it was from a different company than the one I had assumed it was from without bothering to read it thoroughly and I had asked entirely the wrong question. I immediately wrote an apology to Birdi and explained what had happened and asked the correct question. I had an immediate reply giving me the advice I wanted without any suggestion that I had caused them to waste their time answering my original question (even though that is exactly what had happened!). It helped to reduce my embarrassment and left me with a very positive feeling toward Birdi. If I ever find myself in need of professional advice regarding US-Canadian financial matters, I will definitely contact Birdi Chartered Accountant.
