It boggles the mind, that this campground isn’t filled to capacity! It has huge, very well maintained campsites, a mini golf, a par 3, a kids play ground, and so many different types of trees! The staff are friendly and the bathroom facilities are clean and beautifully maintained, even to the point of having flowers on the full length bathroom vanity! This campground is an absolute joy to camp in! We always travel with our own water, so the lack of potable water is no issue for us.
Owner is a really nice guy.spots were spacious and WiFi networks were useable. Bathrooms were always clean. And campers get free mini golf. Place is great for kids. Laundry room was clean and priced reasonable. Would stay there again if I head to the Dryden area.
Beautiful RV park. The golf is only putt putt. The new addition is fairly sloped and the gravel pad is very soft. Friendly staff. Wifi works good. The showers and laundry area are a bit dated but very clean. We used the both, excellent.
We stayed for 2 days on our way out West. Sites are clean and spacious and the services water, hydro, sewer very good. Laundry and washrooms very clean. Meant the owner, Norm, who was extremely gracious and really enjoyed our chat with him. Would highly recommend this park.
Stayed overnight. Rained all nite. Sites are low elevation and rain water floods the area. Washrooms need updating especially for daily fee charged but were clean. Large pull thru sites and beautiful treed lots. Great place for families. Lots of room..grassy sites.Large kids playground. No potable water however is well water so just boil it . Lost electricity due to truck hitting a pole on hyway.. but hydro quickly resolved. Found it a tad expensive for services offered in comparison to campgrounds with updated facilities .
We stayed at Birchland for just 1 night, I wish we could have stayed longer. The new owner, Norm, is great, and helped us out a lot. The park is very nice and well maintained, with spacious sites. Norm explained that he will offer it as a wedding venue as well, which I think it would be very suitable for :
Really nice setup, fairly open. I came fairly early in the season late April and Norm the new owner made sure I was set up for the night I needed, very courteous. Could see that a lot of improvements have recently been made with a few still in progress. Will stay again on my way back through
Went there to play mini golf. It was okay but i don't use their camp sites so i can't be truthful about the whole site.
Accommodating and friendly. Mini-golf, playgrounds, and plenty of picnic seating; perfect for kids' parties.
Quiet place to stay. Cash only. Water is not potable....make sure you bring drinking water. I would stay there again.
