A MUST visit if you’re ever nearby. We stopped here while traveling through the trans-Canada highway. The Carman family are friendly, attentive, and really make you feel like part of the family. The food was suuuper good. The burger was fresh and juicy, and the fries were also fresh-cut. The beer was nice and cold too. The vibe was super cool and I wish I didn’t live so far away so I could go back.
Came here for dinner with my partner, walked around and waited around for a solid 5-8 minutes, was not greeted or talked to the entire time even though it was not busy whatsoever. Maybe having a sign that says seat yourself would be good, it is confusing to those who are not local. I was looking forward to dinner here as the reviews were great, but I guess I will be taking my business elsewhere.
Had dinner here while in town on business .. The Burger was fresh and made in house .. A big portion of fries were freshly cut and served with a nice flavorful gravy .. went back the following night for their wing night .. a good size wing with several dry/wet flavors to choose from I strongly recommend the Smoked Applewood "Very Tasty!" .. Great prices at the bar .. Large open space with lots to do Pool,Fuzzball,VLT,Darts,Arm Wrestling .. Friendly Staff and Friendly Atmosphere .. 5 Star Rating from this satisfied customer .. will definitely be visiting this establishment again when in town next .. Highly Recommend!
My wife and I stopped here for dinner on our road trip and I have nothing but good things to say. The wings were great and the pizza fingers were unreal. I love the small town waterin' hole vibe. The people were so friendly! But the best part... the PRICE! You can not find prices like that anywhere these days!
Honestly such a great place. The drinks were good, the food was fantastic and in great portions, and the prices can't be beat. If I ever come through marathon again this will be my first stop. Phenomenal time tonight.
A cool dive bar atmosphere… food was mediocre at best— typical bar fare. Wings were quite well seasoned, and mozzarella sticks are fried to perfection, but you have to eat them FAST or they get stringy. Fries were quite soggy, Biloxy burger had a rubbery patty. Also, we tried to order appetizers, and they were out of the first three things we tried to order which is fine— supply chain issues, I’m sure. But we ordered the sweet potato fries and got regular fries again, not a big deal, then ordered a chicken burger and got beef also not a huge deal. It’s just the culmination of these things… Agree with the other reviewer that it was quite odd in terms of service; sure, everyone is short staffed, but there aren’t any signs to order at the bar and seat oneself and the kind of standoffish barstaff wasn’t going to tell us— a local had to inform us after we stood confused for a while, and there are some very confusing signs at the bar related to whether they accept card or cash only and when. Welcoming they were not.
Awesome food! Got me hooked on the broccoli bites, that's for sure. Definitely recommend this place to fill the void in your belly.

Decent space to meet with friends and lots of room. Wish there was more of a beer selection, but it is what it is. Parking: Lots of parking space.
I can’t say enough positive things about this bar! We are so fortunate to have in Marathon! The food is soooo good!!!! The poutine is the best in town! It’s huge too!
