Service was excellent but food was dry and oversalted. Ordered the brussel sprouts, brisket, and mac & cheese. Not a single dish came out hot. Food tasted like it had been pre-made hours ago and left to sit somewhere in the back. At least the view of the golf course is nice. Place seems to be a decent bar but not anything else.
I had clam chowder, spinach artichoke dip, and sweet potato fries. Odd choice but that's what I wanted and it all was delicious. Clam chowder very favorable and plenty of clams. The dip I ate up and the fries I thought were overly browned but turned out to be very good.Food: 5/5
Service was great. My server was knowledgeable and willing to answer questions. Employees were friendly and seemed to be happy and having a good time. Food was solid but not great. Loaded potato is big, but not very "loaded". Kids menu is good. Overall food was bland but service was good. Will return if I'm in the area Kid-friendliness: Has a full kids menu with crayons. My daughter had fun.
Billy Baroo's is a restaurant in the clubhouse at Foster's golf course. It's easy to get to as it's right off the highway and there is tons of parking in the lot outside. They have a lot of tables inside and even a few outside when the weather gets nice. Service here is great, quick and friendly. Prices are pretty good as well, alongside portion sizes which are also pretty good. The food here is not so great, brisket was dry and tough to chewy when it should melt in your mouth. The burger was also dry as it felt overcooked. Would come here for drinks after the round, but probably not the food.
Hosted an event. They were great to work with. People liked the food though I didn't eat, so can't speak to it myself. Nicely appointed. We'll served. Clean. Good condition. Easy to get to. They were prepared for us, and easy to work with in advance. We'll be back.
We had a fairly large party, and not everyone arrived at the same time. So some of the issues with the service and food might be a result. Nachos were cold, salad arrived after we were almost done. I've been there in the evening, with a large party before and it was great. I'll just chalk this visit up to a randomly off dayFood: 3/5
Billy Baroo - The waiter and manager were legit and did their job impeccably, so they each get a star. The 3rd star is for the atmosphere- cause it is cozy…. Good for drinks and catching up. But the food was horrible on all levels. The brisket was so chewy I couldn’t eat it, the broccolini was chewy, old and undercooked. I can’t remember the last time we ever sent food back and we were HUNGRY. Shout out to the waiter and manager on shift at 6pm on Friday 12/30/22.
Brunch outside! Gorgeous views, eagles Great service and the food was good too. Brisket scramble was my favorite. Need to add brunch cocktails to the menu.
Good service, food very average at best. The bbq sauce was really bad, I ended up dipping my ribs in ranch... Fries were good though
Great spot for lunch. Not too crowded. Good pours and the food is reasonably priced.
