Great Service department. They helped out my Cannonade like nobody else. I got a great deal on my daughters last bike - they were very helpful when sizing the bike and gave us a very good spectrum of price points. We were looking for a better bike and they laid out what features might cost and we weighed it all out. Got a great deal and great service!

I am not a huge fan of Bike Works. I used to be a bike mechanic at a great shop in W. Mass years ago, and I do pretty much all of my own work, but there are a few things that just aren't worth buying the tools for, such as truing wheels. I built a new road bike for myself, and the wheels I ordered were not quite true from the factory, so I brought them to Bike Works for truing. The prices were a bit steep for a 5 minute job, and it took 2 weeks to get my bike back. The wheels looked good for about 5 miles, until PING! Snapped a spoke. Took the wheel back to Bike Works, they replaced the spoke and trued it, worked for a day or 2 until I Snapped another one. Took it back, they charged me this time, replaced the spoke and trued it. I checked the tension when I left the shop and it was all over the place. Made a ghetto stand and trued it myself, never went back.
