I love this weird little iconic Des Moines dive. Its great pizza with lousy service...well worth a visit.

It's a great place to grab a late night slice for $3. They usually have 5 slices to choose from. The hula Hawaiian is my favorite. They always have some basic slices too.
They say a pizza is measured mostly by crust sauce and cheese this is why they got 5 stars from our organization they give a quality pizza at a fair price and wonder full late night hours the VEC appreciate you in businesses like yours is the reason why a lot of us served.
Always go out of my way to pick up a pie from Big Tomato when I'm in town. Never disappoints. Don't know why they aren't at the top of the 'best of' lists. Sometimes the wait is long but it's worth it! Just plan ahead LoL. And for something different but delicious try their honey wheat crust.
Best pizza anywhere.... the sauce is the best I've ever had.
