Beautiful course and clubhouse restaurant. I made a breakfast pit stop here on route to Duffy Lake and it was fantastic. Didn’t play the course this day but I will surely be back. The food was fantastic, service was quick and friendly and the views….oh my gosh the views are amazing.
We played in an on and off rainy summer day. One of the most beautiful and inspiring courses I've had the pleasure of playing. Staff were very accomodating and went an extra mile as we finished late. Looking forward to visiting again soon.
On a boy’s golf getaway, just played a round at Big Sky after they opened for the season. It’s early, and the course will get better, but it’s hard to argue that it’s not the best track in the Whistler area and one of the best in BC.
Had a great meal here the other day. The weather was a big cloudy but the view was amazing. There were not that many people eatting there but it was a weekday afternoon. Service was friendly and quick. Lots of room for Covid safety. The food tasted great. This is a great place to enjoy a relaxing meal and watch people on the course
Excellent golf course. Play 36 and could of played more. The name lives up to the back drop of every hole! Spectacular Views. Conditions were premium.
We held our wedding at the Big Sky Golf Club at the end of June 2022. Sandi and her team were a joy to work with! Throughout the wedding planning process, she was very responsive. Her team had plenty of experience working with local vendors, which made the whole planning process very straightforward. She shared helpful documents, diagrams, and photos from past weddings at Big Sky, which were really helpful while planning out our decor, photo booth, seating chart, etc. They were very organized throughout the process. They helped us arrange a food tasting well in advance, as well as a rehearsal on the day before our wedding. The venue had a backup plan in case it rained. We could store stuff at the venue overnight, which made the cleanup process much more manageable. The venue was beautiful, the food was delicious, and they did a great job working with our vendors and day-of-coordinator to make our wedding feel perfect. I would definitely recommend Big Sky Golf Club to anyone looking to have their wedding in BC. Thank you so much!
We were very disappointed to find very poor conditions at Big Sky, a surprise since we were playing in late August when most courses are in prime shape. Virtually every fairway had large patches of bare earth, not baked, but totally bare. It was cartpath only as a result despite it being a sunny dry day. Greens were ok but shaggy and many tee boxes looked battered. Tack on a 5h10 min round without seeing a Marshall once, and we won’t be returning.
Disregard the comments about the course being in below the standards for what they're charging - it's in phenomenal shape. Fairways and bunkers are mint. Greens were fast and challenging but don't miss them. Lots of false fronts and gulleys that will punish you. Mosquitoes weren't that bad and if you've played anywhere in BC that has bodies of water next to the course, you'd know there are mosquitos - not sure what the staff are supposed to say lol. Cart attendant and front desk were super friendly. Pace was a little slow but it was a nice Friday afternoon so no big deal. My only gripe is that the range balls should be included with your round for the price. Otherwise it would be 5 stars. Will be back!
The food at Fescues was very disappointing. I had their Mulligatawny Soup in March 2022 and it tasted like vinegar and brine. Completely overpowered any hint of curry or chicken flavour. 0/5 food experience. +1 star for the service because our waitress was great. +1 star for the location and beautiful scenery.
We having a wonderful experience and unforgettable memories on this amazing scenery. They provide a super service, staff are friendly, they greet us courtesy while we drop our golf bag especially the staff name Shawn. Even they provide after service for wiping golf club. The setting , maintenance and design of the golf course is wonderful. You feel totally relax and peaceful in the mind. Especially when you see golfer walk with the dog. Our family members really thanks for the founder to have such a wonderful golf course for families to enjoyed and get together. As well this is wonderful place for wedding . We will be back soon. Additional, the metal sculptures is artistic and priceless collection.
