Stopped in to have a beer, staff was friendly and the decor was interesting. I would definitely like to have the opportunity to come back during the summer time.
Great atmosphere! For an old establishment, it wasn't dingy or stale.... Loved the decor and the food was very good! Will be back in the summer to check out the fun patio.

Having this service attracted me to try out the tavern and I was sure glad I did! We're lucky to have Big Mur's in Dundurn! Fun experience to share with company who haven't been to a small town bar. Their deck can't be beat in the summer. Food is plentiful, service is always professional.
This is the perfect hometown tavern. The staff and patrons are friendly. The decor is unreal! Never have I eaten a meal on a table consisting of a propane cylinder and road sign while sitting in a bus! The food is delicious with generous portions and very affordable. Great atmosphere and definitely worth the short drive.
It was awesome. I accidentally locked my keys in the van and fortunately Big Mur's was open for us while we waited for the tow truck to get there. If it wasnt for Big Mur's being open it would have been a pretty brutal wait in the cold. Thanks
I had never visited Dundern before and am happy that a Big Mur’s gift certificate brought us there. Big Mur’s is a comfortable place. They’ve got a great menu, and I hear their burgers are great. We splurged on a fried food smorgasbord, and I had the chicken Caesar wrap. I would definitely go back, particularly to try out their neat outdoor seating area.
The food is always been good here. But they just gave us another reason to love the place. During the covid-19 down they built a brand new patio. It has some of the zaniest decorations I've ever seen. I realky like it!
My new favourite bar n grill. We’ll be back!!! The food was great, the atmosphere and decor were really cool and the staff were absolutely awesome. They treated us like we were their best customers and friends. Worth the drive from where you are.
The best food, great staff, coolest them, biggest problem… they got rid of the pool table which was our reason for coming in at least once a week… guess I’ll buy my own and drink at home. Super disappointed, seems like something small, but a small town bar just isn’t without a pool table.
