We have gotten busy quick with the early April warm weather, so I'm forced to eat out more. Tonight I really enjoyed the Chicken Shawarma on a Pita. I was impressed with the quality & quantity of veggies on my Shawarma. It was enough to share, we were both satisfied with one Shawarma. It had great taste, I thoroughly enjoyed & would recommend The Big Fat Pita for fast food that didn't taste like fast food. Delicious
Pros - tasted good, decent portion size Cons - got home and had some items missing, long wait, slightly on the higher side of price for what you get. I feel bad because it was literally one guy working the til and then running back to make everything. So maybe you won’t wait as long as I did or have mistakes with your order? Maybe he had somebody call in sick and leave him hanging? Idk it was good but not $30 for two combos good. That’s $20 away from sit in restaurant prices and this is chicken and rice. Worth a try tho
My wife and I dinned out at this newly opened location. I had the chicken shawarma with all the toppings and my wife had the chicken shawarma salad. They were both a full meal size. for lunch you could share one or the other. Great value and very flavorful. Customer service was excellent. Will return again.
We ate at Big fat Pita and it was an awesome experience. The owner Andre is a very friendly and sweet person who gave us great advice about what we should be ordering. Woodstock’s finest food experience!! Must try. Generous portions and fresh food
Huge disappointment. I've given this restaurant a couple chances now, but after my most recent meal I won't be returning. Ordered the chicken shawarma wrap with a variety of veggies and sauces. What I received had nearly equal parts lettuce and other fillings saving money with cheap ingredients maybe?. In between mouthfuls of lettuce, I noticed that the meat had nearly no garlic sauce or hot sauce on it. It was just a mass of bland greasy chicken with none of the flavorful goodness that shawarma should have. I really wanted this restaurant to be great, since they're open late and walking-distance from my house. Their food is not worth it though. I will keep going to Osmow's instead.
There shawarma poutine is the best I have ever had. The chicken is never dry. The salads are delicious also. The people who work there are so nice. The service is always fast.
Better than all the Pita chains in Woodstock, lovely list of fresh ingredients including a pickled radish option which is amazing on a Pita. The ceaser salad is fantastic compared to most fast food salads. Great place, will and have returned :
Their Greek Salad has a truly insane amount of olives. But the food is great and the service is good. I always call ahead and it's ready when I walk in.
Chicken shawarma was incredible and the portion sizes well exceed the price. Can't wait to eat here again! The staff are also incredibly friendly.
Well ordered a swarma on a pita loaded with something very spicey after I specifically asked for no hot sauce , Greek salad was delicious ! Very disappointed with the Swarma, craving so bad my son was very good ,also called to say something was hung upon !
