I can’t say enough about our experience at Big Eddys Pub. If you love a relaxed atmosphere with amazing locally sourced ingredients you MUST go. Our group was vegan, gluten-free and meat eaters and there was something for everyone. The staff were very friendly and offered great service. My husband is in love with the wings and he stated “the best hot sauce ever”. I hope they open their online store soon because the swag is super cool. If you mountain bike all day or are just arriving after a long drive this is your place to relax and unwind. Enjoy
Loved the place. The Burgers are amazing and the kids are welcome and just loved the nachos and bacon chips . Big Eddy this was so good I did that and bought the shirt at the bar
Absolutely the WORST restaurant we have been too. Can't believe we spent hard earned money here. I would actually give this place a ZERO star rating. Service was good until you give food feedback. Then you're told it's just the way they make it. No manager to be found. The burger was burnt and too salty. Fish and chips. The fish was way over cooked and burnt in some places. Fries were ok. The worst part was the mushroom soup or at least that is what I ordered see picture. It was really unappetizing and the worst part of this meal. I can't describe any of the soup without getting angry about it.
Amazing atmosphere, great priced drinks and amazing food. You’re better off going here than anywhere else for lunch or dinner. The food has wonderful flavour whether you’re getting the pulled pork sandwich or a burger, you cannot go wrong with anything you choose. Highly recommend to put down reservations on busier days as it can fill up especially if you have a bigger party.
Good Vibe. Ordered the brisket poutine for dinner. The portion of the dish is decent and the taste is great!
OMG those burgers! Service was friendly but very slow considering there were only four other groups seated, food was amazing, restaurant was clean, not well lit but some people prefer that in a pub. Tables were well spaced out for covid. But the table had a container of cutlery where you help yourself. The previous customers could have coughed all over the forks and knives I was supposed to use. I would have preferred if a clean set was brought out for each customer. I find that gross even if there's not a pandemic. I like fresh cutlery. Not sets that were on the table during previous customers meals. Yuck. But aside from my germophobia the food was amazing. I ordered the nachos with brisket. The meat was fall apart tender. My boyfriend ordered a burger. I had a bite and it was by far the most delicious thing I have ever tasted in my life. The Caesar drink was pretty cool. It came with a "snack". After we finished eating we waited about 20 minutes for the waitress to come over with the bill. That part sucked. But she was very friendly and everything else was great. We were staying at that campground down the street and every day when we drove by to go to town we noticed this place was packed. I can see why.
There is nothing fancy looking about this place, but it had atmosphere. Our server was very friendly. The food was very good. I had the best bison burger I have ever had! My only complaint is we were here our last night 5 day trip and I wish we had come our first night. Every day we visited a different pub. None were even close to as good as Big Eddy’s. If I am ever in Revelstoke again, this is where I am going!
We stayed at the Lamplighter Campsite, they recommended this place and said it was "Dangerously Close" lol it is and was. Nice walk to get there, glaciers and mountains. Awesome casual pub with furnishings made to last 50 years. We really enjoyed the food, it was hot and nicely prepared, very generous portions at great prices. Beer, can't believe you can get a frosty full pint of cold beer for $3.75 !! Service was great, our first day out with no mask restrictions, nice to see the servers face and hear properly. I would go here again in a heartbeat. They had the game on too. Great food, great service, cheap drinks, great pub ! Cool horses on the way there, walk over the 1924 bridge to downtown.
Always great food. However due to....I'm assuming short staffed. The service can take a while. Getting food ordered took a long time the last 2 times we were there. A longer the usual wait for food as well. Service is friendly and up beat. I will be going back, but will give myself more time for lunch.
Couldn’t have been happier with our experience here! 5 hungry guys on a ski trip, we were starving, and Big Eddy didn’t disappoint! The brisket burger was amazing, the poutine was a generous portion and loved the overall vibe and decor. You’ll find these hidden gems if you look just a little bit off the beaten path.
