I've driven almost 3,000 miles over the past 2 weeks and this is the first review I've left. This place is AMAZING. Warm, welcoming atmosphere and the staff were so friendly. Food was exactly what we needed as we're the drinks. I would come back to this area simply for the saloon!! If you are in the area, swing by. You won't regret it! This place touched my soul.

Great food, welcoming staff and all of it in beautiful Crooked River Ranch. But avoid the Tuesday Taco Plate - hard shells that came out of a box, too many vegetables, not enough meat and not seasoned.
Bartenders are great, and they are a special place for VETERANS.
I've always had delicious food and great service at The Big Dog!! From the nacho chips, soups, hamburgers, deli sandwiches, chef salads, whatever I've ordered, it's been delicious, with friendly and great service!!, including owner Randy, who always has a smile and a good word for his customers. I've really missed lunches there, since a medical condition has kept me away.
Best kept secret in Central Oregon. Thank you Charlie, Grace and Bobbie for such a wonderful time. Great drinks, great food and great people. We'll be back soon!

The Big Dog caters to CRR locals! Great relaxing place. Good inexpensive drinks and always friendly and attentive waitresses. Oh and I forgot don't tell Randy that he sells his EXCELLENT food way to cheap! :-
Nothing fancy local bar with friendly people and a good menu though we didn't have any food
Great people, tasty food, everyone here is more like family and is super personable, and the drinks are good too! Favorite Sunday breakfast spot!
