I was on a road trip and really wanted ice cream. And oh my gosh this ice cream spot was in a cute little college town. If it wasn't so far away I'd definitely find myself here again hands down. I ordered Oreo and it was probably the best ice cream I've had in my life. No exaggeration. I liked the fact that it wasn't overly sweet. Delicious!! Will be back, one day.
The Big Dipper is hands down a must when visiting Laramie. They are constantly changing up their flavor and adding new seasonal flavors. Whether you're a ice cream, gelato or sorbet fan there's definitely something for everyone. They also make incredible shakes, malts and banana splits. Don't forget to ask about the ice cream cakes if you have a special occasion coming up!
The ice-cream was super delicious I definitely would come here again. The workers are super respectful and kind. Big Dipper Ice Cream shop also has dairy free options to choose from!
We were stoping in to down town Laramie to take a break from the drive. Of course the kids and husband we out to find an ice cream shop. And guess what! We stumbled upon this jewel of a place. Supper cute decor! The young gals that served us we awesome as we were new and asking questions. They had lots of creative flavors to choose from and including the normal flavors. Skittles candy, peach cobbler, fireball was among the crazy flavors. Be warned the 1scoop is big if you get an ice cream cone! The ice cream was very fresh and perfect for the palette. The prices were great and they even give Military discounts. The place was clean. We will be back!
We were in Laramie for the afternoon and figured we should get some ice cream since the shoppe is absolutely adorable!. I am disabled and have a service dog, and this place is hands down one of the most respectful and invisible disabilities friendly places I have walked into since we arrived in Wyoming. I felt very comfortable as a patron of the establishment. The icing on the cake was that the ice cream was so good. My wife tried just about every flavour before settling on her choice, and we enjoyed some time chatting and relaxingin their ecclectic seating area.
Love the decor of the shop. I tired the maple & bacon flavor ice cream and mango sorbet. Both were delicious.
This wasn't my first visit, so I've waited to review. It's a wonderful ice cream shop with a variety of flavors, kind and helpful employees and best of all the prices aren't high or ridiculous. I enjoy this ice cream shop and do plan to return multiple times in the future. If you haven't been here yet, try it out because I think it's worth it.
I mean, I just love ice cream service was fast and friendly and this place has some unique flavors, the caramel popcorn flavor was definitely different!
The staff was amazing and so friendly! They let us stay a little longer than 8pm. We had so much fun! Ice cream was tasty. It wasn’t the best maybe but the place was worth every penny!
Pricey but worth it!! Extremely good legit ice cream in a super fun atmosphere. But $15 for 2 double scoops broke our bank hence only 4 stars I'd come back though!!
