Had the BEST burger ever today. The Onionator Smash Burger was absolutely amazing. Also had the Newfie fries stuffing and gravy on fries. Fantastic prices for the amount of food you get!! Can't wait to go back and try everything else on the menu!! Highly recommend
Big D's is absolutely worth a trip if you're anywhere near the area, including in St Johns just for the day! The Dilly Bean Pickle Lovers poutine, was straight up amazing! It sounds over-the-top but the combo of the vinegar and acidity of the pickles and dill sauce perfectly balances the gravy and richness of the poutine. The best flavor profile of any poutine I've had!nThe classic smash burger was also just a straight up great burger with plenty of seasoning and an awesome bun. Plus they had plenty of Halloween decorations which is always a big win in my book!
We live 2hours away, so we don’t get to eat here often. But each time we’ve been… always been very satisfied!!!!nThis time, We had the weeks specialtynburger and poutine.nMac and cheese poutine and the Canadian pizza smash burger…. TO. DIE. FOR.nSadly I only had a few bites of the burger, as my husband enjoyed it so much he forgot to share!
I am a foodie, and since moving to the province I have been trying to collect new spots to eat. The province generally has smaller portions than I’m used to but higher quality of ingredients. That’s why I don’t want you to be thrown off by how much I spent which was in the 30’s. I couldn’t finish all of it. Seriously. The small, or ‘regular’ poutine I ordered with my burger was a large anywhere else. The Newfie fries were fresh fries with amazing gravy and some of the best stuffing I’ve ever had. Also, don’t skip the Rothesay burger, I ordered the double to my great enjoyment. The cream cheese! Delicious!
When I tell you I had one bite of my Mushroom Melt burger and then dropped it so I could come leave a Google review. O-M-G. That burger is amazing. The poutine is pretty great too, gravy has a beautiful flavour. Fries are a bit thick for my taste, but it didn’t stop me from finishing them. There were no “naked fries”, and the food was still piping hot even after returning to my hotel. First time customer, will definitely be back. Open a chain in Fredericton!!!
