Our waitress Nicole was awesome. She said they only had 2 waitresses working and the place was packed I don’t know how but they were on top of everything. Our food mom’s meatloaf was delicious. The atmosphere is lively we highly recommend
Here visiting from San Diego, visiting with some friends. They took us to dinner here. The food, the ambiance and the service was amazing!! We had the rib special as was recommended by our waitress Nicole. We split two specials between 4 people and it was more than we could eat. Some of the best ribs I’ve ever had. It also came with dessert, which was a raspberry cheesecake, which was also amazing. Definitely a place to try if you are ever in Darby.
I wasn't sure what to expect from the Big Cat Cafe and I'm still not sure. I was seated in a large open room with lots of natural light and the Server quicky came to greet me. The menu was the usual fare ranging from soup/ salad to sandwiches and entrees. I chose the BBQ Pork sliders and tater tots as my side. The BBQ was juicy with a definite vinegar sauce, it tasted like it was slow cooked all day in a crock pot. I was just a little confused by the lettuce and tomatoes which came on my sliders. Being from the South, this was a different taste in my mouth as I am used to cole slaw. The tater tots were crispy and hot and a good choice. Overall I would try the Big Cat Cafe again.
Really enjoyed my pasta and my husband loved the fish tacos. I tried his it was delicious. Appetizer came out after our dinner and I wouldn't order it again, but will definitely be back. Waitress was nice.
Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Dining area was nice and warm on a cold and rainy day. Plenty of food for the money....enough to take home for later. Will definitely stop by when I'm back in the area.Food: 5/5
Good place just wish there were more GF options or alternatives but I know it's hard. Odd experience as I walked through and had to ask to order drinks, but it was okay. Got the queso fries. Definitely wish there wasn't bbq in the pork, rather it be drizzled on top so it's not over powering and soggy.
It was a wonderful lunch there, delicious food definitely, great customer service !!Recommended dishesPhilly Cheese Steak, Fries, Chicken Fried Steak, Appetizer Sampler & Fish and Chips Basket
$144.26 for two adults, four kids. It took exactly 56 minutes from when we entered to the restaurant to when we recieved our food. I requested a water and it took 10 minutes to get it and the chicken strips were pretty mediocre but the tatertots were good. The rustic, old timey atmosphere was cool and the outside seating was nice
We walked into the smell a super clean lobby! Next we were greeted by Kelli who became our server. She was wonderful, friendly, attentive and deserves five stars of her own. We all loved our food. There was enough that we had great leftovers the next day! This is super awesome, place. We will go back every chance we get!
We stopped here on a road trip in early spring 2023 and were so glad we did! The atmosphere was inviting, warm with a real wood fire. The wings were juicy and crispy would travel to eat them again and the food and drinks were great. Staff is definitely skilled in customer service. Worth the stop if you’re near the Darby/Hamilton/Lost Trail area
