We drove far out of our way on a day trip to Seattle to experience what was billed as the best burger in Washington. Can I say it was the best burger in Washington that I've ever had? No. Was it definitely better than most burgers that I've had in Washington? Yes. Did it absolutely destroy any possible drive-through burger that you could get anywhere? 100% I'd say that it is solidly on par with any drive-in style burger joint you can find up and down Oregon and Washington. Mike's Drive-In in Portland. Dandy's Drive-In in Bend. Etc. It is worth trying, and the drive is quiet, and scenic, so it's not a stretch to make the trip as your return leg from a day trip to Seattle from Portland. Definitely would recommend.
I want to remove only 1/2 a star because they only accept cash, but there is an ATM attached to the store for your convenience. Food was good, and large fries was LARGE so definitely share. Very good fries but could reduce the salt a little bit.
I get why this place has been open for so long! Every bite was just as good as the first one. I will drive the 30 miles and pay the toll for this burger joint… oh and wash it down with a Thick Malt! Outdoor seating: YesTakeout: YesCurbside pickup: Yes
The burgers were ok, and unless you LOVE fries get a small!! Their fry sauce was amazing, so get extra!! I would give 4 star's, but I don't feel the food was worth the price. Parking: Very limited parking. Looks like people were parking at the gas station next door
Great burgers and malts. Been by this place more times then I can count finally made a day trip there just to try them out and I wasn't disappointed. Great greasy messy burger and I loved it. Won't just ride by there anymore. Good service and prices were good.
Place has rediculously amazing food! A little on the pricy side but it's a destination spot that I believe is worth the price~ Kid-friendliness: I believe they have kid options on the menu and there were kids there when I went and they was grubbin on some burgers. Parking: Not a lot of parking but if you get there at the right time, you get a choice spot. Other than that, there is some street parking close
Great spot! I am blown away by the size of the regular cheeseburger it was worth the price and then some. The fries were huge! I asked for a small, but nothing here is small, my Tshirt wad 3x....seriously. Excellent milkshake lasted all the way through the ferry trip. I don't give 5 out of 5 stars lightly.
Nice nostalgic roadside burger place. Had the double cheeseburger with grilled mushrooms and onions. Yum. Large fries. Yum. Spent over 20.00 on that. Cash only. Have picnic tables for seating outdoors only. No indoor area. Tiny parking lot so can park on the street and run across the road. Not enough help for the large crowds. One girl taking orders then stopping to make lots of milkshake orders. 2 guys making food in the back. Can sit outside with your dog so that is nice after a day outside. There was 6 people in front of me when I arrived and it took 45 minutes so be prepared to wait. They stopped taking orders 20 minutes before closing time and a lot of people were turned away which was sad because they walked up so excited. It was a beautiful warm Saturday at 6pm they showed they close at 7pm which seems way too early. It was fun and good food though. They have fish and chips and chicken also.
The burgers were smaller than you'd expect for this price, but they give you a ton of fries. My GF and I got a large fry to split and there was still more than half the fries left when we were done. **Be advised they are cash only** The cash only business model and size of the burgers were the only drawbacks. The food was very good, the service fast and friendly, overall a great experience.
Not much to the ambiance in the fall on a rainy night, but it's probably great in spring and summer when you can use the outdoor seating. Great burgers. Can't speak to the fries, but the service was nice and quick. Can't ask for more from a burger stand. Parking: There's maybe 10 slots for cars.
