Big Bay General Store

This place makes the best handmade ice-cream ever! I want to give a full 5 stars but I just can’t. I had the most AMAZING flavour of my life “Mayan Orange” the summer of 2016 (gosh I can still taste it,) but they didn’t have it in 2017. So for that they loose 2 stars, because I drive from Toronto for this treat.

Great customer service! So many local artisans displayed, and the ice-cream is to die for! Pumpkin pie is still my favorite, but there's so many flavors. Best place to visit in the summer ❤

Home made ice cream! And it's brilliantly good. This IS the little store in cottage country that you remember from your childhood, even if your cottage was no where near here. Just come out and see if it doesn't feel like you've gone back in time.

My brother brought me here to see the bay and for the ice cream. It's a quaint little store with some locally crafted souvenirs and awesome hand made ice cream! I had the Saskatoon berry flavour...yummy!

I've had homemade ice cream at major icecream parlours in Toronto. But nothing beats home made ice cream at this shop. This is hands down the best ice cream of all ice creams.
