Bianco is a very good Italian restaurant. The atmosphere is new and fresh looking. What I really liked was the waitress knew the menu extremely well and was quick to offer suggestions based on what we were feeling “a hearty meal or something different” The bruschetta is one of the best ones I’ve ever had at any restaurants. The ragu was excellent and definitely the hearty meal that was promised. The stuffed pasta with ricotta was a bit rich for me but the fennel sausage that came with it was excellent. This restaurant is in a place that is difficult to find parking, there is a parking garage on Rice Howard way if you can’t find anything on the street. Overall I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anybody.
Best seafood pasta I’ve had in Edmonton! The pizza was also great! I would give the food a 10/10. If you plan on dining here be sure to book a reservation as they were very busy and we only got seated because someone cancelled their reservation. Otherwise, atmosphere and food was amazing, service was also great. Just be prepared and get a reservation if you wanna dine here.
This is actually my favourite restaurant in Edmonton! The food is absolutely delicious and for a good price as well. The staff are also very friendly and accommodating. I have celebrated many events here and will always keep coming back. Highly recommend!
Really great ambiance and awesome staff! Yummy authentic Italian food and good cocktails! Everything we ordered was a hit! For the price point and quality definitely will be back next time I’m in Edmonton!
One of the best restaurants in Edmonton. I ordered a vegan pizza. Luckily there is vegan cheese. They will charge you an extra $4, which I don't think is necessary, especially if your table of 8 is a good win. I enjoyed the nice ambiance and would love to go back again.... I went back right after the first visit. This restaurant is a great dining restaurant
I'm in town for conference and wanted something close to my hotel. I sat at the bar and the service was great! I started with the calamari and finished with the wild mushroom risotto. The price was right and I found the portions generous. I could have shared both.
So, so glad to have decided to come here on our 1-day trip to Edmonton. Pizza was top notch, and so was Gnocchi. Great collection of wine and cocktails. Friendly staff, lovely ambience - liked how casual it was on patio but equally classy/romantic inside. Wish they had a sister restaurant in Calgary.
Impressive service from the very charismatic Johnathan. Meatballs were very tender and super delicious. Prawn appetizer was mouthwateringly good. Entree portions were particularly generous and all in all it was a fabulous experience. We didn’t find it overly loud inside and we never felt rushed despite taking our time with the meal and lingering a bit after we were done. Tremendous time and wouldn’t hesitate to go back. Johnathan gave us quality recommendations even though he seems more adventurous then we were lol. But he steered us to some certain classics that were real crowd pleasers. His suggestion for the bolognese rose was spot on for me and easily accommodated my husbands wishes for extra meatballs on his standard bolognese as well as helping us pick a very nice bottle of wine to complement our food. We didn’t try any pizza or desserts but every single thing that passed by our table looked amazing. I don’t think you can really go wrong.
This chic Italian restaurant is simultaneously moody and lively with it’s dimly lit ambiance and buzzing atmosphere. However, as much as I really enjoy a bumpin restaurant, I just found that Bianco was extraordinarily loud! I’m not sure if it’s due to the layout of the restaurant, or the music, or just how busy it was. All I know is that I felt like I had to yell in order to speak to my friend across the table. In regards to service, honestly, it could have been better. I understand they were a bit busy, but I just felt like our server wasn’t really present. Our food also took a while to come out, and the table maintenance was not frequent. In regards to food, let me start by saying that, this restaurant had got appetizers in the bag! They have so many amazing options, but we ended up starting with the Bruschetta Caprese and the Gamberoni! The Bruschetta was undoubtably good, but the GAMBERONI? SUPERB! That was some of the best tasting shrimp I’ve ever had, and the white wine sauce was amazing. I literally soaked each piece of bread in it! For my entree, y’all know I had to try the Gnocchi di Patate Dolci and its safe to say I was pretty pleased. I decided to get the menu recommendation of smoked Pancetta and also a half chicken breast. Thank God I added on that chicken because the pancetta portion was actually NOT worth the price paid, I barley noticed it in the dish. Additionally, the dish was kind of small, but Gnoochi is a time consuming dish to prepare, so I understand. The actually pasta and sauce was delicious though! My friend ordered the Linguine al Nere, and she said it was great and a good bang for your buck as it’s truly packed with seafood goodness!
It's a cute place once you enter to the building. It was a friday night, so i understand that they are busy. We sat down and order drinks which took over 20mins. I ordered a bourbon sour, my friends order a beer and a cocktail. For some reason, my drank smelt like a dirty towel rag which was very gross. I was watching the bartender using the same rag cleaning all the glasses prolly using it for quite some time without changing it out We ordered a few appetizers. Everything we ordered from the menu came out to be all tomato based. Including our white wine mussels. I wasn't impressed. All the waitress and waiters were all walking aimlessly back and forth at a very high pace. From my point of view watching. It was quite stressful and I couldn't relax being there. Servers all served their drinks without a tray. Which I thought was quite interesting. It gave me a pub feeling type of environment. Not so much of a restaurant, i wont be going back for sure
