Supervisors at Peterborough camp -- I believe their names were Sophia and Nicole -- Absolutely fantastic. They effectively addressed issues with my child. Had many open discussions about what was happening. They were very receptive, taking the time to listen to both sides of the situation. Will be sending my step son back next year with out a doubt.
i genuinely love it here. the staff do everything to make you feel included in everything. It's a safe space for LGBTQ kids and people of color. theres always food in the fridge so you're not hungry, free clothes if you need them and a free gym. i go to the gym as often as i can, and it is truly the safest I've felt in a gym.
Nice new facility with a decent outside play area for smaller kids plus a splash pad. Just down the road they have a brand new skate park that seems to be a popular spot for kids with basketball court and several hoops. Nice seats and a covered area as well. I was really disappointed and upset to see the pride flag, and blm flag hanging on the walls inside. So much of this type of stuff. More of an indoctrination center than and educational center. This stuff has no business in these types of facilities.
The staff are usually friendly. Have had some issues with a young bully worker right infront of me to my child without her knowing I was there to pick her up watching. I didn't hear back directly from the club specific person but I think she cleared the problem up and got rid of said girl.
My daughter R.M.R has been attending the BGC Program since the begining of 2023 School year. To say that I am happy with this program is a severe understatement. My daughter LOVES the program, her educators Alexa & Aiden and as a very nervous mom, both of these educators take the time to message me to let me know they've gotten my girl safely. I am beyond happy and would give a bazillion star rating if I could.
