This place is so adorable and unique; really transports you to another place that's a great little escape. Their specialty coffees are truly excellent. The smoked salmon sandwich is the best I've had so far. The pastries are homemade. A great little gem!Food: 5/5
Super charming and unique. I've been in love with cafes forever and Ottawa has a huge gap in the market to fill. I'm so happy to see a few incredible spots like this one opening up. Latte and sandwich were on point, felt like sitting down for tea with my grandparents looking forward to my next visit. Vegetarian options: Lots of unique vegetarian and vegan options! I had the Persian kuku vegetarian sandwich it was excellent.
This cafe is a true neighborhood gem, offering excellent food and drinks. What sets it apart is the beautiful integration of their culture into the menu. During my breakfast visit today, I was absolutely blown away by the delicious food and outstanding service. As a wheelchair user, I was thrilled to find how accessible and accommodating the cafe is, with no stairs and plenty of space to move around. The staff's friendliness and willingness to go above and beyond made my experience even more enjoyable. Without a doubt, I have discovered my new favorite cafe in Ottawa! Just had High Tea at Beyond Cafe. Absolutely excellent! My wife and I have been to Chateau Laurier AND Chateau Frontenac for both of their high yea. While both are also excellent, Beyond Cafe's food was IMO much better and way more filling. We will be going back soon for our wedding anniversary. We also took home some cake for a late night snack. Can't recommend this experience enough!
Since they've just opened, I dropped by with my wife to check it out! We locked the unique feel of the cafe and we'll definitely go back. The chocolate croissant was fresh and the coffee was well made. The folks working there were friendly and quick! Can't wait to try the rest of their menu.
Found this place recommended on tiktok. Right in Orleans! Has the best ambience out of any coffee shop I have seen in the Ottawa Area. They even have gluten-free, and vegan options as well.

It’s a lovely place with fantastic interior design. You will feel at home sitting in the cozy atmosphere and being served by the tasty food and pastries and the super friendly staff! Coffee is made and designed artistically, and I had my best mocha last night in beyond cafe!
I Lve love love this cafe!!! Atmosphere is amazing, food is soooo yummi and service is fantastic! The staff is very welcoming with a lovely smile and so professional and knowledgeable! Creamy chocolate brownie was delicious just like everything we ordered! My friends and I really enjoyed our get together and were so in love with this newly open cafe and its lovely decor as well! We are lucky to live nearby and will definitely visit again! Highly recommend! Free parking is available in front of the cafe or in the plaza parking lot.
This was my first visit and even though I got my food to-go, I loved their vintage vibes! Feels very comforting and welcoming, like at my Grandma's house lol. I tried Turkish coffee for the first time...AMAZING! The food and pastries are delish as well. The owners are friendly and service is good.Food: 5/5
