Very good experience! I went here for my first float and being from 5 hours away, I was very impressed with their service. The guy at the front was incredibly kind and asked if there was anything they could change to improve. They truly care about your experience and want to make sure its the best. The float rooms were a great temperature and had everything you would need, they also have a vanity with a dyson blow dryer and all the attachments for use after. I will definitely be returning every time I am in the city.
Overall it was a pleasant experience, I always enjoy meditation. But to be fair I didn’t enjoy the blue lights when coming out of the tub I feel the colour red would be more relaxing and less intense on the eyes. I also felt it to be a bit too warm and muggy to fully indulge the experience. The man in the front was outstanding and gave excellent service, and the fact they have a chill little library truly knocks the experience out of the park. The lion mural also won me over!
A really neat place to check out. I went for my first float and wasn't sure what to expect but all the info on their website helped me understand what I'd be getting into. The tub is huge and has a tall ceiling. The videos online don't show off how big the tank actually is because I was expecting smaller and was surprised of how much room I had once I was in there. The sensation of floating is the coolest thing I've experienced. You don't think about it at all, just exist weightless for an hour. It is very well soundproofed. I didn't hear any sound from the other rooms beside mine. Recommend to anyone who just needs to escape and relax for an hour.
This spot is my favourite float studio in Edmonton! The humans here take such great care to make your experience seamless from start to finish! There is a large area to relax before or after float and you never feel rushed! Hot tip their first and last float of the day is 90 mins complimentary 30 mins extra is you like a longer float!

I've been to a few different float studios before and Modern Gravity is by far the best. Everything was extremely clean and organized. There were touch screen pads with headphones as you enter, that let you watch a brief video on how to float. The do's and don'ts. Love how the float tanks almost seemed to be a room too themselves. Also Loved the area with the Dyson hairblade, almost burnt my beard off. Can't believe how fast it dried. Can't forget about the after float tea area, nice added touch and great selection. Thank you for a wonderful time.
Pretty awesome place. Went in with my wife for the first time. Thought it was going to be boring, turns out to be super relaxing and I felt 9x better when I came out. Awesome vibe great experience. I get that the price is medium but I am looking forward to the costs coming down, I would go way more often as a monthly ritual.
My favorite float studio in Edmonton. The setting is chill, the owners are super cool and friendly, and the float experience is wonderful. If you’ve never floated before, here is the place to give it a try. It’s really nice to have a peaceful reset at any point in your day and come out feeling relaxed and refreshed. What a nice float! Staff were also friendly. Facility was very clean and tidy. Based on my experience at other float places, I think a seat in the shower area of the room would be helpful, and the ability to control the lighting color in that space. It's nice to come out to warmer light after your float, but that's just me! Thanks, Modern Gravity! I'll be back soon :
Best place to float in the city hands down. The place is so professional and beautiful. The soundproofing in the tanks is such high quality, better than other locations. Love the people they hire, always so pleasant and welcoming. If you are debating coming, this is your sign to do it!
