My wife and I read about Betty's in the travel section of the newspaper and marked it as a must stop if we were ever in the area. We'll we stopped in and it lived up to our expectations! The award winning butter tarts melt in your mouth and definitely also try the lemon and raspberry too. We had the sausage rolls for lunch. Yum, well worth stopping in!
Can’t get enough of the tarts and pies! These were what we got on a Friday and no, we don’t have a party. They were just for us. LOL Friendly services and tasty desserts! Support local!
I went to Betty's on Thursday last week with my friends and bought a strawberry rhubarb pie, butter tarts and apple strudel. I was really impressed with this bakery. The staff was friendly and the food looked so tempting. I froze the other items for Christmas but promptly ate the pie. My husband and I thought it was so good. I will definitely be going back soon. Great place to go.
Excellent!!!!! Got two different tarts and the cherry pie. All were flakey and fresh. Staff was very kind and helpful. Even if you planning to pass by on the highway, it’s worth the short detour.
Butter tart tour. The PB&J was interesting and the raisin was really runny. The crust was very thick but not very moist. Overall solid 3/5

Lovely small kitchen presenting pleasant smell of baking and very delicious home-made tarts. They are not serving coffee and there is no space to sit, you can take your tarts and find a coffee shop to enjoy your tart asap. The cherry and butter tarts are my favorites
We spent the weekend in Cobourg and stopped in to grab some treats. We picked up several different tarts, apple strudel and some other baked goodies. Everything was delicious! I really enjoyed the original butter tart. Our friends even went back the next day to grab more treats. Would definitely recommend checking this place out if you’re in the area.
One of my favourite places for butter tarts! There are a variety of flavours Plain, pecan, PB&J, raspberry, and more to keep things interesting. Everything is worth trying. The pastry is well done across the board. Sometimes the buttertarts are runnier than other times - tasty always. Prices are reasonable. Worth a visit!
Stopped here with my girlfriends during a birthday road trip, and the staff are so welcoming and lovely!! Don’t shy away from stopping here it is well worth it! The staff here goes above and beyond
