Did you grow up in a small town? If you did, this gem of a place will remind you of that exact place! Betsy's does the burger shack style wonderfully. We shared a cheeseburger, fried chicken burger, tator tots, corn fritters and fried mushrooms. All of it done perfectly and at a reasonable price. If you are driving by, do yourself a favour and stop in for a bite to eat, you won't be disappointed.
This is the best place in Smoky Lake. My family and I have been coming here for so many years and have never been disappointed!! With the rising food prices, Betsy's Burger Shack is the most affordable for dining out and best thing is this cost us 70 bucks for a family of 9! There was two big bags full of food. And I tried to take pics before I ate but the Grilled Cheese didn't stand a chance it was too good not to eat haha I highly recommend this place if you're passing by Smoky Lake or in/around Smoky Lake! We drove 45 minutes just to come and eat. Staff are friendly and rarely ever make mistakes! And if they do they correct it super fast. We haven't had any bad experiences here!
A must stop along the northern drive through Alberta. Decent burgers, delicious onion rings, and accompanying shakes that are amazing
What to do on Smoky Lake when it’s not pumpkin season? If your hungry stop at Betsy’s for a rib sticking burger, yummy and not goi g to break the bank. Nice buns too!
