The best synagogue in town! I have never felt more at home than I do when I walk through the front doors of Beth Tikvah. The Rabbi along with the staff are very friendly and always ready to serve the community. I had the privilege of finally attending the High Holiday services and will definitely be coming back.

I am honored to be a part of this amazing synagogue. Rabbi Jarrod Grover is an outstanding Rabbi and leader. He cares so much about the members of the Shul, not only in a spiritual aspect but also on a personal level. We are so privileged to have such a great Rabbi and staff to continue the everyday work in our synagogue.

I never expected to be asked to bring previously bought tickets in order to be able so say Yizkor on Yom Kippur. I didn't know, besides bringing stuff is not even permitted on Yom Kippur, and offered to pay the next day. We were denied entrance to the synagogue to pray.

I wanted to express my extreme disappointment to the Beth Tikvah community on the treatment of my dad during his last days. My father Stan Revich was a founding member of Beth Tikvah and paid his dues until his dying day, even though he spent his last 10 years in Burlington and wasn't able to visit anymore. But our family was very active while I grew up.....we were there not only every high holiday, but also every Friday night, and every Saturday morning. My 3 siblings and I went to Hebrew school 2 times a week, Sunday school and celebrated all of our Bar/Bat Mitzvahs there. My mother sang in the choir and was active with many other activities.there.. In late October I called the Beth Tikvah office to let them know that my dad was in the hospital in Oakville and was not doing well. About 2 weeks later the Rabbi finally called me and I asked him to come out for a visit...he said yes, but when I asked 'when' he said he would let me know, that he was very busy. The next time I heard from him was about a week after his funeral, more than 3 weeks after we talked. There should be no more words, but I was so disappointed that several weeks later I decided to write a letter to the board of the synagogue. I did receive a response about a week later (I can't remember who it was) saying that she was just going on vacation but she would be in touch when she got back in a couple weeks. So here it is, the middle of June and not a word from anyone. I truly feel sorry for the congregation of Beth Tikvah. I am happy to hold onto my memories of Rabbi Feder, and the many hours we spent there growing up, but I am sad that Beth Tikvah has left me and my family with this bitter taste. Perhaps I should have just let this slide, but of course I think about my dad every day, and he was a big believer in writing letters when he felt he had been 'wronged' so I am writing this last letter on his behalf!
