Beta Bloc is the first and only climbing gym in the West Island.

Story

Never climbed? Want to get started? Beta bloc believes everyone has an inner climber. Bouldering is the easiest way to get started, as it requires no harness, no partner, and no specific training. Bouldering is practiced on 15 feet high walls at the bottom of which there are safety mats.

Jamais fait d’escalade? Pas de problème. Beta Bloc croit que tout le monde a un grimpeur intérieur. Le bloc est la manière la plus simple de s’initier à l’escalade; pas besoin de harnais, pas besoin de partenaire et pas besoin de formation spécifique. Le bloc se pratique sur des murs qui sont 15 pieds de haut au pied desquels se trouve des matelas pour amortir les chutes.

It’s a really cool, clean bouldering gym! Their problems are a little more creative and tougher then average I would say, but If you like the extra challenge, you will love this place. So if you’re looking to get stronger faster, this is the place for you!
Been going for a year, the staff are really nice and the food is good. Would highly recommend. I also took lessons at one point and I got from v1 to v4 in a few months. Used to go 3 times a week and I can’t wait till COVID is over so I can continue to go but I’m 100% going there again
There were great problems and the staff engaged with the climbers a lot, which made for a lively atmosphere and a very nice experience.
Great bouldering West Island bouldering place. It's large and spacious, and even has some regular space equipment. The chalk dispenser is also pretty nifty if you forgot to buy chalk.
Awesome place for bouldering! If you want to try bouldering this is the spot. The staff is awesome and super helpful. They’ve got some great coffee and good food too. There’s also a nice spot to warm up or do a workout to help with your climbing skills. Love it there!
