We are here for the first time, as extended stay guests during some renovations at our home nearby.nnI must say I am pleasantly surprised with every aspect of our experience here.nnThe rooms are very clean and well maintained; housekeeping does a great job every day; the front desk staff are very friendly and seem to really enjoy their jobs.nnA special shout out to David for going above and beyond!
We rolled in at 1am after driving 9 hours solo travelling with a toddler. The front desk staff were so nice and helpful. Our room was cozy and clean and very nice and quiet, and the curtains let us sleep in. We do a lot of travelling as my child is medically complex, and we will be coming back. The location lost a star because of the construction outside but not the fault of the hotel. He.
Room was clean and spacious 2 Queen sweet with pullout. Fridge was large for a hotel room and there was a microwave and Keurig included. Rooms have been updated but are very standard rooms. The pullout was better than expected too!nOne of the staff upon check in was wildly friendly and helpful! I wish I got her name, but her hair was covering her tag. The other staff seemed disinterested.nWent to the Buttery for breakfast - it’s definitely a unique experience. Food is decent, but it felt like a time warp!nParking is included and you can park close to the stairs to your room.
When we 1st pulled up I was concerned that this may be too old of a motel. However rooms are newly renovated & very Nice. Very Clean. Beds & pillows were comfortable.nStaff were super friendly.nThe restaurant located in the hotel ... is Top Notch for food & Service. Located right across from the Upper Canada Mall. Located near many other Restaurants.nHowever, 100% my recommendation would be to eat your breakfast or lunch in the motel restaurant.nIt's been open for 38 years. With the same owners and many of the same staffnThe food and the service is incredible.nHotel is located very close to the south lake new market hospital. In case that is something you require. Our reason for travel was a hospital visit.
We were in town for a hockey tournament. Everyone that we dealt with was amazing. The Front Desk Staff. Housekeeping. Security. The staff at The Buttery. They gave us a couple meeting rooms for the boys and parents so we were not disturbing the other guests. Great location across from Upper Canada Mall and close to lots of restaurants. Thank you Best Western! Extraordinary Hospitality
