I connected with Alisha prior to our arrival by phone and she was very helpful. I couldn't wait to meet her in person.nMeeting her and her front desk coworker George - they were great! So friendly, and we really felt they wanted our stay to be awesome.nThe room was great and an excellent value. We brought our small dog Ollie with us.
I’m glad we chose to stay at Best Western Cedar Park Inn from June 25–27. We had an excellent experience throughout our stay.nWhen the TV in our room stopped working, the staff responded within minutes and did everything they could to fix it. Their quick response and professionalism were truly appreciated.nnOur kitchenette room was spotless and very well equipped. It had everything we needed, including dishes, cutlery, dish soap, and all the essential kitchen items, which made our stay comfortable and convenient.nnLast but not least, a special thank you to JAZZJaspreet at the front desk. Her kindness, professionalism, and the way she answered my phone calls a week before our stay were exceptional. She was the reason I decided to book this hotel, and meeting her in person confirmed that we made the right choice. She provided outstanding customer service and made us feel truly welcome.nnThank you to the entire team for making our stay so enjoyable. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to others.
We came as we were visiting our son who is attending University here in Edmonton, This Best Western not the best we stayed at , but we had fun in our suite and at this tiny pool. Customer service was very nice , especially Sam was great. Convenient location, with stores , fast foods, restaurants around.nThe smell in the room was very weird, like old or something, hard to explain. Over all - it was good.
I'll start with the pros and work my way down to the con...n1. I found Alisha and other staff members quite friendly and helpful. I use a walker and even though my husband was with me, she still helped us so that we only had to make one trip to get everything to the room. We had arrived quite late after a long drive so it was nice to have that extra kindness. Then the next morning, we arrived late to breakfast my misunderstanding of when it was done and Alisha still went to the back and got us some homemade danishes that she had made. They were delicious! Thank you Alisha!!n2. Room was quite lovely and spacious. Shower was fantastic and I loved the smell of the soap, shampoo and conditioner.n3. Unfortunately, the parking spots are quite small. We drive a truck and barely fit within the lines.n4. Location is OK, just off the Calgary Trail.n5. Now... the bad part. This hotel is not Disability/handicap friendly unfortunately. I have MS and use a walker and I travelled with my dog. Their pet friendly rooms could only be accessed by using a small flight of stairs. Luckily my mobility was good enough that I could climb the stairs using the railing and I had the assistance of my husband and Alisha, a staff member. However, if my MS were a bit worse, I'd not have been able to stay there with my dog. Also, the doors going out to the back of the hotel where we parked our vehicle did not have handicap buttons to push and the doors were difficult and heavy to open. Not sure I'd have been able to open them if I had been alone.
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and overall, it was a very positive experience. A special mention goes to Anisha from the breakfast restaurant, who truly stood out with her warm welcome, friendly attitude, and exceptional customer service. She made every morning enjoyable and is a great example of the kind of hospitality that leaves a lasting impression. The hotel is fortunate to have team members like her in guest-facing roles.nI would also like to recognize the front desk staff, who were consistently polite, professional, and helpful throughout my stay.nThe only area that could use some improvement is the room, particularly the balcony door, as a noticeable amount of outside noise came through during the night. Better soundproofing would enhance the overall comfort of the stay.nThat said, I thoroughly enjoyed my visit. The hotel's location is excellent, with several great restaurants and stores within easy walking distance. I would gladly stay here again and recommend it to others.
