The staff are incredibly kind and helpful, checking in with a dog was no problem and only had a nominal fee.nnThe building is definitely old but everything is clean, beds are comfortable and the showers get so warm it's quite lovely. Had a very quiet stay, saw many vehicles but heard no other guests.nnI was told there was breakfast included and expected a continental style but no they cook a fresh meal for every person! I was also told they have a dinner reaturant that serves Indian food, making plans to stop by here next time I head north.
I needed a place to stay as my home had recently flooded due to a water leak, and this motel did not disappoint.nFRESH hot breakfast included with the room price…can’t get any better than that. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable. Service was great. Locations was good, Right on highway 22.nWould definitely stay again.
The rooms need upgrade, or maybe just the carpets, not a good smell if your a non smoker you can really tell that these use to be smoking rooms, the ice machine in the hall is disgusting, and I really think check-in should be a little earlier than 3pm if you book ahead, I understand walk-ins can't always be accommodated but if you've booked ahead you shouldn't have to wait 4 hours after checkout to get in your room, we did not try the restaurant but it did smell amazing, the people are very friendly, and the price is very good. I will be back, I take the good with the bad.
A wonderful place to stay, especially if you have pets! The rooms are clean and cozy, I kept going back for the tasty restaurant food they offered, and the staff are so friendly and accommodating to your needs. Would highly recommend Best Maple Inn to my friends and family!
We got stranded in Drayton overnight after getting a flat tire on our way to Edmonton. We have never been to this town so we didn't know what was good or not. We took a chance on this hotel given the price, the ratings, and that they were kindly willing to allow our dog to stay with us.nnI am thoroughly blown away by the kindness and hospitality of all the staff. I don't really know how to describe it, but ever since COVID, everything feels so bureaucratic. Extra charges for everything and rules that never existed before. But this was like a throwback to how things should be and how they used to be. It was a very stres-free stay.nnNot to mention the complimentary breakfast. And not like a breakfast buffet. We went to the restaurant and sat in a booth and our food was brought to us.nnAdditionally when we checked in at the front desk, the super kind gentleman manning the desk offered to use his tire patch kit to get us back on the road. Absolutely above and beyond. Not the type of service we see in the city.nnAs for the hotel itself, the building is old and I expected the sound to carry between rooms but everything was completely silent. The room was very clean. Beds were comfortable, rooms had A/C, shower was hot and had lots of pressure. Towels were large and fluffy. 11/10. If we ever find ourselves in Drayton again we won't even look elsewhere.
