We’ve been loyal Best Buy customers for over 6 years, regularly purchasing high-value items like iPhones, laptops, and more. However, our most recent experience was deeply disappointing and alarming — and it’s important others know what happened so they can protect themselves.nnWe purchased a brand-new Apple MacBook from this Best Buy location. As usual, we recorded a video while unboxing the item at home — something we’ve always done to preserve memories and ensure security with high-value purchases.nnTo our absolute shock, when we opened the sealed box, it did not contain a MacBook, but instead a wooden plate with a metal patch inside. We immediately returned to the store and explained the situation to the staff and Manager Roya.nnInstead of listening or showing concern, the manager accused us of fraud, implying we had made the switch ourselves. She refused to even look at the video we had as proof. This was extremely disrespectful and upsetting.nnWe insisted she open another MacBook box from the same batch in-store. With full confidence, she claimed the box would be different — lighter, authentic, etc. But once she opened it, it had the same exact wooden plate inside. Only then did she apologize, saying, “This has never happened before.”nnThat’s hard to believe when it happened twice — back-to-back — in front of customers. At that point, she tried to quiet us down so other in-store customers wouldn't hear. Instead of addressing the issue properly, the store seemed more focused on saving face.nnThey called us the next day to process a refund with zero compensation — no apology, no accountability, and no offer to make things right. We even took time off work and paid for fuel to handle this issue, just to get our own money back.nnMy advice to all of you.nnAlways check your item in-store before leaving, especially if it’s an expensive tech product.nRecord your unboxing, even if staff question why. You’re protecting yourself.nBe cautious at this location, especially dealing with management. You may not be taken seriously if something goes wrong.nWhat happened to us should never happen — and the way it was handled made it much worse. This felt like a scam, and the burden was placed on us, the customer, to prove our honesty.nnBest Buy has lost our trust — not just because of the product issue, but because of how poorly it was handled.

We believe in treating everyone with equal respect—regardless of perceived intelligence.
The guy in the wheelchair exceeded my expectations completely. Answered all my questions with no hesitations exactly what I needed to know and what I was trying to do. He made a lot of sense compared to my old school way I wanted to do things. Thank you very much I appreciate your time and knowledge you were great to chat with to figure out what I wanted to do vs what my original thoughts were
Today I purchased a surface pro with accessories. I needed to stay within budget since it was being purchased with bursary funding. Britainy was extremely helpful and kind. She was on the hunt to help me stay within budget, from searching options at other locations, finding open box options and ordering items online not available at her location for in store pickup. She used every tool at her disposal, including her walkie talkie, calculator and phone to find the best options for me. She even connected with her manager to try to get me a discount. He was also extremely nice and was able to get me very close to my budget, which I truly appreciated. Fantastic service, thank you.
Honestly I'd always check here for all you electronic needs. Ed is a cell phone wizard, deals with the companies and works his behind off to save you every penny .the store manager Lindsay is popping around the store helping everyone and worked seamlessly with her tram.Last time I went this lady raj helped me buy a computer. Never trying to over sell, helping you get what you're looking for without feeling like in getting upsold on everything. Yeah I'd say best Buy around.
