I hadn’t bought a tv and home theatre system in 13+ years, and was thoroughly impressed by the excellent customer service that I received from the team of Samsung Specialist Mafuzul, department manager Leo and salesperson Abbas, in Nov 2025.nnBest Buy has large demo displays set up for all the major tv brands, so you can easily see the picture difference and hear the sound quality of each system, to judge for yourself.nnMafuzul quickly brought me up to speed on the latest technologies and brand strengths, so I could make an informed decision. His expertise and professionalism was exceptional and valuable. Like having a consultant help you choose the best solution for your situation.nnLeo’s knowledge and efficiency was just as impressive, and he informed me about various discounts available, when buying related products and using free financing. He was very helpful and solution oriented, working hard to ensure that I was a happy customer.nnAbbas facilitated the financing and purchase process, guiding me through it quickly and easily. His attention to detail and simple explanation of the complex bill, was very much appreciated.nnOverall, I’ve never had such a positive buying experience, and highly recommend this team to anyone. Yes, staff are hard to find, but I don’t blame them, probably some labour budget cut.nnMerchandising display is good, nice to see the product yourself before purchase.
Purchased a Segway kickscooter. The manufacturer itself had a much lower price $400 difference vs what Best Buy offered, however they did Price Match - most of it.nnBest Buy charges an environmental fee, yet Segway itself along with ezbikes doesn't charge it at all. The staff and management would not waive the fee, nor would they alter the price of the kickscooter to Price Match the actual tax in total. The staff were like...'but it's only 0.70!'. The principle of Price Matching is to charge the exact same amount as the competitor; not use the excuse of a 'government fee' to justify it. This review could've been avoided if they Price Matched the tax in total that Segway and ezbikes showed on their websites. How the staff went about this is unethical and is not a true Price Match.nnIt was end of day and I didn't have the time over this additional charge that nobody else charges. Yes, it's a petty amount that people won't care for, but if nobody mentions this, Best Buy is basically skimming off every customer with this petty charge. I should've just purchased it through the manufacturer site instead. BS charges and unwilling to make a customer happy deserves a 1-star.
Had a really good experience with Mandy! I was looking for a specific product and I found Mandy to help me with it. She asked if it's okay if the box of the item was slightly damaged, I said yes which I thought was thoughtful of her to ask. She was very kind, quick, and cheerful to help me out.nnThanks Mandy! Sales staff were great. Bought a new tv. However, this particular branch will only validate parking if you buy something, NOT if you need to return something. It’s a small thing, but it seems kind of petty of them since I am still there to do business.
