One of the busiest metro station in Montreal. Transfer to all metro lines and you will see people from all directions. Easy to read transfer directions, aged and failing infrastructure, but at least somewhat clean and some homeless people may Abe around.
Stm should be investing much more on his annual budget the metro system is behind but so behind comapring to many other coh triés in the world that by the time we reach where they are we already another 20 years behind the wheel..
Probably the biggest and busiest of all metro stations in Montreal. It’s nice to be able to walk inside to the Grande Bibliotechque or Place Dupuis or all the way out to Rue St Denis. Decent pizza place and coffee shop as well. The first time I ever came to Montreal 8 years ago the very first time I got off the metro was at Berri and there were about a half dozen people smoking crack right in the station. It seems like it has been cleaned up somewhat. Lots of security and police presence but you’ll still get a lot of people begging for change and screaming etc…It was what it is
The trains were fast and usually on time. However, there was always homeless crackheads in the station that smoked. These people need to be removed from the stations, they annoy people, panhandle, smoke inside and pee inside the station.
