Berri–UQAM is one of the most convenient metro stations in Montreal. It is a major transportation hub with easy connections to different metro lines and bus routes. The station is located next to a beautiful park where people can relax, walk, and enjoy the city atmosphere.nnThere is also a nearby taxi stand and intercity transportation options, making it easy for travelers heading to Ottawa, Toronto, Quebec City, and other destinations. The area is always lively, with shops, restaurants, and services within walking distance.nnA great location for both locals and visitors looking for convenient access to transportation and downtown Montreal.
The main station of the Montreal Metro. Not Gare Centrale, despite the name of that. Outside of the train transfer area, there are a multitude of shops to peruse in. Once you’re past the fare gates, you are greeted by a multilevel design where each line is on a separate floor. This is not as elegant as Lionel-Groulx but it’s the only station that lets you access all lines except Blue.
The trains were fast and usually on time. However, there was always homeless crackheads in the station that smoked. These people need to be removed from the stations, they annoy people, panhandle, smoke inside and pee inside the station.
Good experience using it, Google just makes it super easy to get places with public transportation but somo cities don't have a really good system... Montreal is not one of them, I think it's really really good.
One of the cleanest Metro station. Always looks fresh. I have some great memories with this station. Sometimes i just visit this place to remember my old days.
