There are other places to eat in town and through out surrounding towns...go check them out. You won't miss nothing here! Owner is very rude, arrogant and has zero desire to protect her employees, patrons or even herself by being MASKLESS in restaurant during the Covid pandemic!! We phoned in an order of Chicken Wings, A large Fry, wraps and Gravy on the side with two drinks for take out as per to Covid Regulations. We requested a specific time to pick up as we were only 3 minuets away. We arrived early and the order had already been piled upon the table by the door. We received our order in take-out containers. We had two separate orders, asked for bags to carry 5 large containers, coffee cup of gravy and 2 cans of pop. They didn't have any and gave us one box that could only fit 2 of the containers to our order. The French Fries were more limp then cooked, gravy and pop lived up to all expectations, funny eh. The wings were below average in size and only came in 6 pieces. All of them were very dry, 4 wings had sufficient amount of sauce, another half coated and one completely naked. The wings were Refrigerator Cold and absolutely disgusting, I will say they had to came from yesterday's left overs and just dumped into the container. So revolting that the 11 year old could only choke down one wing and the rest went to the garbage. The money spent was not worth a bite. The cost... $34.00 for one large Fry, 6 leftover day old chicken wings, gravy and 2 sodas!!! Yet they can not give you lids for ketchup containers or even a take-out bag etc. The Female server assuming the owner, lacks in Customer Skills completely and the Bistro Restaurant lacks any signage in accordance to Covid Regulations and Requirements. She told me: that anyone that does not know by now after 2 years to wear a mask is an idiot. DID I MENTION SHE WORE NO MASK!! Not impressed I wouldn't want to see the kitchen. Not worth the price of food, I will pass on this bistro for the rest of my stay in Sunridge.
Food was delicious! The staff and owner are friendly and welcoming. The restaurant has a beautiful view while eating your meal. Highly recommend this place!!
The meal was delicious we had soup croissant sandwich ham and Swiss. We had our dessert take out. Server was friendly seemed scattered but it was a little busy. Croissant was a little over cooked but still tasty. Wasn't appealing soup was on the sides of the bowl. Me myself would take some time to make it look as good as it tastes.Food: 3/5
Delicious food and good service. It's a shame they don't have more vegetarian options. Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly Parking: Free parking
Stopped in here for a Father's Day dinner on our trip to Sundridge. Excellent little spot with friendly staff and good food. Great views of Lake Bernard.
Sandra is as wonderful as the food she serves. Friendly, comfortable place with great quality food. Great stop on the snowmobile.
Really enjoyed Bernard's Bistro. Service was friendly and prompt and food was homemade and reasonably priced. We had fish and chips and a chicken caesar wrap with tomato basil soup. Lovely screened in porch overlooking the lake. We will back to try the homemade desserts next time!
Good food and wonderful service. I will be back when I'm in the area. I forgot to take a picture of the carrot cake but it was also very good.
We’ve been twice, once served by the owner. Food is fine and decent, but they don’t always have everything on the menu. So if you are hoping for a certain item be prepared for them to say they are out. Also, both times the servers were running around and seemed so busy. Also, complained about how long of a day they had and how they weren’t able to keep up, etc. Friendly, but chaotic service. Guests don’t want to hear that! I was in the service industry for many years and feel that is unprofessional. Good location, close to the water and kid park.
Quite possibly the best fish and chips I have had in North America over the past 20 years. As a former Brit, I'm particular about our national dish, but this was hands down perfect. Will be back.
