I gave the place one extra star because they let you have a dog if you say you have a kennel. Only place in town that lets you have a dog. It's a $10.00 pet fee.

He is VERY RUDE, lied to us about having a room unavailable, worst place in benson, better to sleep in a vehicle than this dump of a place

You may be asking yourself, where the heck am I... Benson? However, if you do need to stay in this small town, the Benson Inn offers a basic and affordable place to lay your head. The rooms are spacious, comfortable beds, wireless internet and cable television. If you don't need any more than that... then this is the place for you. The only negative I have is that the bathroom is small which only contains the toilet and shower (the sink and mirror are outside with plenty of room).

Thinking it was the only hotel in town, I made reservations for two of our employees (including my father) to stay for three nights at this hotel due to work in the area. While I was making the reservations, the woman on the phone kept stopping to talk (yell out) children so I was worried that this would not be a very professional place. When our employees checked in, they were treated so rudely that they found another place to stay. When I called to cancel the final two nights of their reservation, the owner informed me that the next time I made a reservation, it better be for the correct number of nights or our company wouldn't be allowed to stay at his hotel. When I started to tell him that they left because of how rudely they were treated, he hung up on me before I could finish. I guess that pretty much tells the story.
