First off: great little spot, margaritas are perfection!! But rough spot: husband and I had never been here… and it felt like we were outsiders. The regulars were all given full menus and whatnot. We were there for over an hour and five drinks between us-we wanted food but no one ever said a word about food or even offered. Service was fast but we weren’t sure if we had somehow offended them in the 3 words spoken to them. Not sure if we’ll be back. We love little dives and would’ve spent twice the money but so it goes…
This is a nice family-owned business. Relive the old days of benjamins and go downstairs and feel the nostalgia but also the updated atmosphere. Play pool, have a bite to eat or a drink. And also listen and dance to Great bands like the Bullseye band who play down there on weekends.Food: 5/5
A nice and low key place to go when the other bars in bangor are full. Has a pool table and unique underground vibe.
Benjamin’s Pub is a FANTASTIC place to visit for great alcohol beverages, gaming entertainment, and dinner/late night food. With a plethora of choices on the drink menu and multiple gaming machines such as pool tables and hunting simulators, this local establishment brings the friendly vibes and hospitality that everyone should enjoy. I was very impressed by the quality of food. Would HIGHLY recommend trying the wings! Will be coming back soon with my friends :
If you want a warm, welcome friendly atmosphere and true pub experience in Bangor, this is it! The staff are very accommodating and super friendly! Food is absolutely amazing, and the drinks, wooow!! Delicious and almost too pretty to drink! This is our new spot! It was awesome to sit with the owners and have a chat about the place! Definitely coming back, and bringing more friends with us!! Thank you guys! Keep up the awesome work!

What can I say i attempted to go there 5 times, i got in once because I came early. For those who want to know why its packed is because its cardo arrest bar food for cheap, standard beer 9-5 Joe shmoe its got 2-3 half decent bar tables, and a 4 star pub feel , owners and staff care. Great place for a semi-llowost cost date fun...just fun arcades etc etc.
Tasty drinks curated right in the bar- And even excellent food, which is often rare to find at the bars around. Would definitely recommend for those who don’t like a noisy crowd and enjoy a laid back atmosphere.
I'm currently sitting at the bar. My sister has asked for drinks multiple times. One lady says she can only do beer and that's fine but she walks away because she wanted to make a mixed drink order. We didn't know it was separate. Now they have repeatedly ignored us even though a man had ordered drinks for us and payed for them because she said my sister "doesn't have a smile on her face". Maybe she would if we could get ONE drink after 45 minutes at the bar asking very nicely as well as PAYING. LOL
