The word "fantastic" doesn't even begin to cover how great my experiences were with Dr. Benjamin Clair. About 2 weeks ago, I fell on ice and broke my left Tibia (shin bone) in 1 place and (literally) shattered my Fibula (the supporting bone in the lower leg) into 5 pieces. I also tore some tendons completely off my ankle/heel area.
After looking at the X-Rays that were taken in the ER, he determined that I did need surgery. This scared me because I had never needed surgery in my life but he assured me that everything would be fine, explained the entire process and answered all the questions I could think of.
At the post-operation appointment, he gently examined the leg, determined that the stitches could come out and asked how things were going, if I needed more pain medication and how I felt about both the pre-operation appointment and the surgery.
He genuinely cares about his patients, is willing to go "the extra mile" to help his patients and does all of this (and more) in a very calm and professional way. I HIGHLY recommend both Dr. Clair and Twin Cities Orthopedics.
