Benedict's

This morning I had the worst experience at this restaurant. Upon arrival, we were seated in a booth. We browsed the menu and ordered our food. My meal was a bacon and cheese omelette with a side of bacon. side of Hollandaise as well ($10.99 + sides) Friends order was a fried egg sandwich, a side egg (and she had my potatoes and toast). Side of hollandaise as well ($5.95) While she was ordering, the waitress rolled her eyes at us (sometimes we have odd requests), but none the less, it was rude and uncalled for. When the food arrived, no one came back for close to 20min. The entire time, my friend and I were attempting to make eye contact with no luck. She just wanted some jam on her toast but no check ins. When I began eating my food, at first I was delighted in how good the eggs were, until I got to the cheese - it was processed cheese. Who puts processed cheese in an omelette, never mind one that’s costing me $10.99? I allowed my food to sit as I wanted to give them an opportunity to rectify it. We waited.... and waited.... and waited. Finally I waved someone down (not our waitress) who was shocked and said “this isn’t my section” but went to get my friend some jam. Unfortunately, her entire meal was frozen by this point because it had been so long. Our waitress finally walked by and I stopped her. Explained to her the situation. She walked away and said okay I’ll fix it. Never offered to make me a fresh omelette, but came back about 5min later and said she covered our bill. So we left... contemplating going to another restaurant, with barely anything in our tummies. I am not one to write a poor review, however I travelled from out of town to come to this place and the entire experience was very disappointing!

Best in the Region! We come from St. Catharines just to have their eggs Benedict! Best service always. Everyone is happy and smiling and always get in quick even when they are super busy!

This is your standard breakfast and brunch joint with the usual menu options, but the portions here are great and the service excellent. I ordered the Meat Lover's Meal which was great. The bacon was cooked perfectly and the sausages not too greasy. Our table also got an order of the buttermilk pancakes to share and they were super fluffy and tasted great. Service here was attentive and friendly. Our waitress came by frequently for coffee refills and just to check in which is always a nice touch. The wait for our food wasn't too bad either considering it was a Sunday morning and the place was full. Prices here are great too. The Meat Lover's Meal was only $7.99 and most other menu items are $10 or Less. Overall, a fantastic little diner type establishment serving up great breakfast with great service for great prices.

First time there. The service was amazing! Had the eggs benedict and the eggs were cook perfectly. The sauce was a little think and rich for my liking but that is a matter of taste. The potatoes were a bit saltier then my liking too, but I still enjoyed it and ate everything! The service we received made the experience

Biggest complaint is that it can sometimes be a wait for a table, but the food comes quickly, and tastes great. Excellent place to go for breakfast in Welland.
