I recently visited King's BBQ Chinese Restaurant and I was thoroughly impressed. They had multiple choices of delicious dishes to choose from, and the atmosphere was very warm and inviting. The service was very polite and the prices were very good. The highlight of my meal was the sweet and sour pork I forgot the exact name and the eggplant - it was cooked to perfection. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great Chinese dining experience.
They advertise duck.. No such thing... Been long time.. They say... Been driving around for 20 minutes.. FOR NOTHING I ordered sweet and sour chicken they left the chicken out I'll lay in it out with a lot of broth and vegetables..... I also got something I never ordered and I have no idea what those brown crispy things are..... The barbecue pork was good Parking: Lots
All in all a great place to eat! The food was fantastic, the service so absolutely friendly, and the price is very reasonable! We had a wonderful time! Highly recommended! We moved from montreal in 2019 and I've been dying to find some good old Chinese food! And we found it here!
Delicious food even when warmed up a day later. Beef and broccoli was great, the General Tao chicken was fresh and hand breaded, and the hot and sour soup was to die for. Pay cash and pick it up for best value.
We ordered as a group of 12 and everyone really thought the food was the best they ever had. It was hot, fresh and chicken balls were so big & tasty. The staff were so friendly, accommodating & punctual with time food was ready. I also must add, I felt restaurant was very clean…they had a hand sanitizing station for customers as soon as they walked in… this left a good vibe with me! This restaurant is very well run & organized. Lastly, the staff were the best!!! Happy New Year to all the staff at Kings BBQ! We will certainly be back soon! No complaints whatsoever. Parking: Loads of free parking Dietary restrictions: I was really happy that the rice had less salt as some people have to watch sodium intake.
The food is pretty good if you can get it. Every single time I have placed a pick-up and arrived on time, there has been a 15+ minute additional delay. I am pretty patient. Today was the last straw though, after being told it'll be another 15 minutes I wait in my car, come back in, and now it'll be another 30 minutes. Seriously? Just tell me you didn't get the order in or it was missed. Don't waste my time and yours.
They had several vegan options, some were good, some were not great. The vegan general tao was good. The veggie beef chow fan was bland but the "beef" itself was tasty. The fried tofu that's listed as an entree came in a heaping bowl, entirely submerged in sauce and what seemed to be frozen carrots/peas mix. The tofu was not crispy and tasted a bit off. Reviews overall seem favorable, seems like a good place to order from. The wait wasn't long when we were there, but I can echo the sentiments of others regarding the one-man-show service.
I'll partially blame the NYE rush, as a lot of orders were being processed, but I'm fairly certain they lost/missed my telephone order. I waited forever to get my relatively small order while watching others come and go and some other frustrated folks who were kept waiting. I finally got my bag, and learned when I returned home that the food wasn't in suitable containers. There were liquids in two of the dishes, and those were put in shallow clam-design containers. So the liquids got all over my truck and kitchen. The food was so-so, I wasn't impressed, but I wouldn't say it was bad. A little oily for what I was expecting, and the curry chicken didn't seem very flavourful. Certainly not a hardship to eat though.
Go here for lunch quite often and have found the owner is a kind and generous lady! The veggie General Tao chicken, and Veggie Ginger Beef are amazing to order, and the portions are filling but not too much which is nice. Will definitely be coming backFood: 5/5
Atmosphere is casual and cozy, the staff welcoming and friendly, the food we ordered was fresh and tasted terrific. Order well in advance as the kitchen is often quite busy! Never disappointing!Food: 5/5
