I went to Beebe Elementary 48 years ago (kindergarten). It looks a lot different now. I remember during a winter storm, they used to dig out snow, add (plastic I guess) and filled with water...instant ice skating rink. They also piled the snow up very high so all could go to top and ski or sleigh ride down. It was VERY steep, they actually had stairs built in so you could ascend. Times are a lot differentnow. Back then, we did not have a sue-happy society and cities could do stuff like that without liability. I even remember my teachers name but I'm sure long since retired. Mr. Hatcher. (Anyone working at Beebe, if you remember him, let me know!) Great school!!!

The teachers along with the administration are wonderful. All three of my children have attended Beebe. My youngest is currently in 4th grade. The teachers really care about tjrir students and keep the communication open with parents. I also love the diversity at Beebe.
