Wish I had tipped more! Incredible poutine. My wife got the east coast lobster and I got the mac and cheese poutine. Both very good choices! Edit: Staff member started prepping food without a mask, happily after we already ordered
My husband and I went here. We were disappointed. We had heard such good things about them and the food was just not good. For being a poutine place, the poutine basics should be amazing. It was not. The gravy is plant based and tastes like Campbell vegetable soup. The fries were bland and not even salted. Also, the music was loud in there the staff had issues hearing us and we could barely talk to eachother. The redeeming factor was that the toppings like the pulled pork and chicken were tasty. I don't know if I would go back. It just wasn't great.
Loved this little hole in the wall restaurant! Great choice of poutines and donairs…very good and tasty! Will definitely come back!
The food was great, but it did make both my friend & I have upset stomachs, over 24hrs later & we both are still not feeling well. Very sad especially because the food was great & the staff was very friendly. There was one girl working by herself when we went in she was very kind & could see she was rushing doing it all herself. As we waited 4 other staff members came in & only one started to help her the rest went into the back. Good execution but very sad to say we felt not great afterwards.
I got the large Philly wrap with Reece’s peanut butter milkshake. Prices are slightly cheaper in store than on skip the dishes. Wrap: Good flavor, slightly spicy. Nice size. Lots of meat and a little of everything else. Milkshake: nice strong peanut butter flavour. Costs slightly more than a Peter’s milkshake. It was a bit of a wait to receive food. Staff are friendly. TV inside showing women’s wrestling. Some space for eating in but not enough if you’re concerned about being 6 feet away from other people. Sign on door indicates masks are to be worn; some customers can be seen going in and out with no masks, staff may unmask for short periods for easier communication.
The food tasted amazing but halfway through our meal both my friend and I had to stop because of how sick we were feeling. We both ended up staying up all night with really upset stomachs. We had the pitas, fries, and Mac and cheese. Not sure which caused the problem.
Full 5* across the board. Hands down the best poutines in red deer All around great food, atmosphere the whole 9 yards. Never leave hungry Owner is a good guy! get someFood: 5/5
What a great place to go to! Best poutine I've had, the local craft beer they have is also really good! The customer service is nothing short of amazing, the young lady that works there will make you feel at home! Highly recommended.
Usually we love Bedford, amazing donairs and great poutine. Tonight however, left us wanting more, both in our hearts and in our stomachs. Our donairs were good but the fries were undercooked. We waffled as to whether to make the complaint as we are not usually the type at all to do this. When we did muster the courage, we mentioned the fries were undercooked and we were sadly dismissed. We were told that they had switched the fry provider and there was no offer to remedy the wayward meal.
Bedford has been really great to us, I really do enjoy the pulled pork poutine, along with some funnel cake fries. The owner has introduced me to their Peanut Butter milkshake which tastes better than a Skor Blizzard from DQ, I cant wait to try the other flavors now. Always looking forward to trying out new menu items! Another must have is the Cheese Steak sandwich!
