Some of the best ice cream I have ever had! I got the basic chocolate and there was nothing basic about it. Really dense and very cold, and by that I mean it stayed cold for a while - hate it when ice cream melts really fast. Line was long, but moved really quickly. Staff was friendly and helpfully when it came to asking for recommendations. Would 100% revisit. The chocolate I got was the kids size by the way, so value wise this place is incredible. If I had to pick one gripe it would be that the kids is so big I felt like two flavors should have been allowed, but that's a very tiny gripe because the flavor I got was fantastic. Overall I give Bedford Farms Ice Cream a 4.5 out of 5.
I was here about a month ago and it was amazing ice cream! The texture was a bit chewy. I never had it like that before. I hope they open up again.
The best homemade ice cream with outstanding vanilla and coffee flavors. Friendly staff and good portion sizes for the price make it worth the money. Easily one of my favorite places for ice cream anywhere. An excellent place to stop year round.
Great tasting ice cream, very fresh ingredients. People working there were also very friendly and patient with questions on the flavors. The portion is enormous even for the kiddie size.
Was recommended by friend that lives close by. Ordered Mud pie and chunky chocolate pudding. Two big scoops in waffle cone. There is no seating inside or outside.
Friendly staff, delicious ice cream in potentially ridiculous portion sizes if you're not careful, and a great atmosphere being in a converted train station building. I ordered a banana split but it was late in the day so they were out of bananas... the staff kindly and cleverly offered to substitute a brownie. My friends encouraged me down this path and I had no regrets. A really fun place!
Just hard to beat this place in the Concord / Bedford / Acton area for excellent ice-cream and gelato. The product is excellent, the quantities VAST. One star off as the "dining experience" both at the Concord train station and the Bedford location is kinda crummy. Still. Drive it home! Eat as you go! Spill some mint chocolate-chip on your lap?
I want to be kind here. The staff was sweet and the ice cream is great. The experience would be so much better if the owners embraced cafe culture by installing more benches, chairs, plantings, string lights, fencing, an outside drinking water fountain, trash receptacles, etc. Put two high school kids to work for a weekend and spend a couple hundred bucks and you would transform this place into a true destination.
delicious ice cream just make certain you order a small size
Just passing by after walking around Walden Pond. We both had black raspberry and it was so creamy and finger licking. Too bad we’re tourists and won’t be back anytime soon, maybe one day.
