Went to Beaver Log Cabins having been to quite a few other log cabin place,some closer to home.Was met by Andy Edwards who from the start was very helpful and welcoming.Having explained that our log cabin was to be a sensory room for our special needs daughter,Andy showed us the various types of cabins till we found the one we liked the look of.It was close to clising time but we wasnt rushed through any decision making but we was stuck on 2 different cabins,Andy took our email address and told us to take as long as we like to decide and he will email plans and prices for both.We left and within a few hours of being home the email had arrived and we had decided.Rang Andy,even though it was Saturday late evening and made arrangements to go in through the week.....any day that suited us. Went in and again got made to feel very welcome,he went through absolutely everything again,the pro's and con's of the type of base and bearers.We opted for a plastic raft.....no good having a cabin designed to last over 10 yrs on a wooden bearer that can rot if subject to water/rain.Paid our deposit and left happy with our purchase. As all the cabins are individually made to order and the time of year we expected a really long wait but wasnt too long. Installation day came and you always have doubts having strangers on your property but the 2 lads from Beaver log cabins,Drew and Tim were 2 of the nicest lads you could meet,offered then drinks and sandwiches as you do but they had the odd brew but preffered to eat their sandwiches when the finished for the day.They worked none stop on both days,tidying up as they went along,as you can see from the enclosed photographs they have done an excellent job,will add more pics when I have finished treating it. Like I said earlier in the review that we visited a lot of log cabin places,some were slightly cheaper but nowhere near the same quality as Beaver log cabins,I would definitely recommend them.From start to finish they were brilliant.
Dont normally write reviews but I feel that these guys we’re definitely worth a few minutes of my time to write one. Firstly a very honest sales process - the Lugarde cabin was on a long delivery time and they told me that from the off rather than excuses for missed deliveries. Once it got here installed by their own people and very professionally - a couple of hiccups that were quickly sorted and I was left with a beautiful log cabin. Only one area that could do with slight improvement and that is communication / response times between order and delivery. The stainless poles in the photo are for a summer sun shade and not part of the log cabin install
From start to finish, from initial consultation to final build, Beaver Log Cabins gave me exactly what I needed. The result is an amazing addition to my home. Solidly built by people who care - my new log cabin Man shed! will give me enjoyment for many years to come! Thanks to Andy, Kelvin & the team!
We visited Beaver Log Cabins and were immediately welcomed by Andy, we described what we were looking for and were shown the exact cabin, shape and size. Andy was extremely helpful and had a great knowledge of the quality, fitting and suitability for our location. It arrived on a sunny day and was carefully constructed by two very careful fitters. The quality was better than we could imagine and we are extremely happy. Congratulations Andy and your team.
