Beast & Brine by Windsor Meats has a great selection of quality meats; prepared frozen dinners; pantry staples and luxury olive oils. The friendly and very knowledgeable staff, are there to help, with excellent service. We love that Windsor Meats is a big supporter of local brands! Their stores stock our female owned, locally produced line of seasonings called Grandpa J's. Thank you Windsor Meats for being a leader in supporting local small businesses like our own and others! The double smoked bacon is the best! Butcher service is excellent as they were more than willing to do extra cuts and trims on the meat selected by the customer.
My wife and I stop by every month or so for a Beast and a Roast Beef sandwich. The staff is helpful, friendly and funny. The meats are wonderful. We generally take our sandwiches to the beach at Blackies Spit and watch the birds and the dogs swim. This is a quality inexpensive date for a retired couple.
Delicious sandwiches. The staff is very friendly and go out with of their way to provide excellent customer service. They have a fabulous selection of butcher meats and if the don't carry it, they will order it.
Honestly, been there about 15 times, probably spent $500 altogether on many different items. Had their sandwiches, steaks, pepperoni, chicken, sausages...a large range of items. After all of my visits I feel like I've really loved about 5%-10% of what had. I've never felt, not once, like the flavour warranted the price. Everything here is very expensive which comes across as pretentious. The people who work there are very nice and polite, service is good. I won't be returning unfortunately.
Never like prosciutto before this less dry and salty one. Alternative to their recommendation sweet yellow pepper and mild gruyère. Garlic olives yum.
I come here all the time. The double smoked bacon is the best I've ever had and I eat it religiously. They have a really great selection of sausages, cured meats, cheeses and even condiments and accompaniments on the wall.
It was a delight to find this place. Their smoked and brined turkeys for thanksgiving or Xmas dinner are amazing! There house made sausages do not disappoint on the grill and their in-house deli meats are spectacular. Beast and brine goes out of the way to bring in local and national foodstuffs to counter the big box grocery experience. Treat yourself to a "beast" sandwich and ignore the comment of slowness. I've never waited more than 5 minutes to be served.
Great selection and quality. Marinades, spiced rubbed and pre cut ready for the bbq. They have so many different local products like chutney and cured meats and cheeses. Nice find. Mouth still burning from the spicy pepperoni
