Beautiful campground- nice OHV trails around. I came here on Ford Transit camper and took my dirtbikes to enjoy nearby trails. There is no coverage but Starlink works- little slow due to tree cover
Beautiful camping site with a clearing and a lot of trees, completely Free, with little to no people. Not very many animals. Has bathrooms and toilet paper. There is fire pits to make fires and grill food. I would definitely RECOMMEND this camping spot! Restrooms: Restrooms are clean with toilet paper. Dog-friendliness: No dog restrictions. Picnic area: There are picnic tables.
Fairy remote. Only one other person there. Very quiet during the night. Bear lockers, bathrooms. Didn't see running water. Fire pits and tables. Park in each campsite.
Beautiful Campground. clean well-maintained plenty of space at each campsite. getting to the campground is rough. Coming from the north the road is very winding and I suspect that people with large RVs or Towing trailers will have a great deal of difficulty going around the turns. The road to it from the southerly direction is a nightmare of potholes and ruts. There was absolutely no signal on Verizon.
The drive to the campground is gorgeous and sometimes pretty rocky, but the ground itself is dark and gulchy. The day we were there, there was only one other camper and he was a militia guy with an ATV. The signs in the area are all shot up from guns. Next day while camping in Sierraville, we heard gun shots for almost an hour coming from the area. They weren’t hunting shots, they were repetitive. If you like hearing gun shots, this is your spot.
My girlfriend and I spent the night here in late October and had a wonderful time. The landscapes around the area are stunning and the campground is very secluded. Only one other party was there during our stay. Free and no reservations required. Remember to pack out what you pack in, and bring your own purified water. Would highly recommend this to anyone looking to get out there
Beautiful secluded Campground. There are no services so you'll need to be self sufficient.
