Stopped in for lunch at the Bear's Paw Bar & Grill after a morning of swimming with the kids. It was fairly empty when we arrived. We ordered the pickled Caesar along with the electric lemonade which were both quite tasty, although the picked Caesar was a little too salty as brine juice from the pickles are used in the drink. The food was quite tasty as usual. The kids enjoyed their grilled cheese and fries, even though the server screwed up the order as one of them ordered pasta, but was too hungry to wait for the proper order to be prepared, which they offered to do after realizing their mistake not a huge deal. The resort salad with chicken was delicious, although there was a bit too much dressing. It was a good portion as well, but for $23 it better have been. The beef bul-go-gi with rice was prepared properly as I requested no onions or green peppers. It was quite delicious as well and was a decent portion for $21. Again, typical resort prices a glass of Coke was $5. Overall lunch ran just over $100 without tip.
Not bad, the food was okay. I enjoyed the fish and chips but the fries were very oily and the pizza was super salty. Our server was great, very quick and helpful when one side salad was forgotten. I would not recommend the steak sandwich, it’s a piece of bland steak on top of half of a baguette with no sauce and 3 onion rings on top, not worth it at all for being an item on the pricier side. Much better than the restaurant beside it though!
An excellent restaurant with all the standard fair, BUT served piping hot. It was oh so good. I didn't have the poutine, but I had the fries and the gravy -- incredible! I can only imagine it with Quebec cheese curd--which they have. Will have to go back.Food: 5/5
It's our 2nd time going to Fairmont Hot Springs and the restaurant we went to last year was booked for an event so we ended up at Bear's Paw. Service was great, food was great too. Also the convenience of them being open until 11pm is great, where you wouldn't have to rush your soak in the hot spring because restaurant is closing early. Anyway, my only critique is it's really expensive. And for tipping, the lowest is 18%. It's way too high when you're already paying for a meal that's been jacked up price already.
Place was very busy for a between season Tuesday but once we got inside the service was excellent and very fast. Our order was out much quicker than expected. The portions were very large and quiet tasty. Overall the meals were very reasonably priced for the portion sizes. Definitely would come back and would recommend to others. You may want to consider calling in advance for reservations during the dinner rush.

We just loved our visits to the Bears Paw. We've been here four days and have not even had to leave the resort to eat. The staff are so friendly and we've had such a great time trying all the menu options. Eight visits later and we still haven't run out of things to try and each and every one has been a delight. I was surprised because the prices haven't been shockingly terrible as one might expect. Love their in-house lager too. Definitely recommend
Kids meals were great 3 chicken fingers and lots of fries. The resort salad was also yummy.I was pleased they had GF buns for burgers…but I think it was left under the heat lamps too long and was stale and very dark brown on top.
We just went there to eat snack but we were so surprised with the foods that we ordered there were so beautifully presented. I can say that I got my money's worth and the staffs strictly followed the covid - 19 health and safety protocols.
Food was excellent, service was great friendly and prompt. Great view from the paito, mainly bar style food sandwiches and burgers but also have a steak. Drinks were well made and had a good selection of spring cocktails.
