Bear lake KOA campground is located across the street from Bear lake located on the Utah/Idaho border.

Story

Park your RV or pitch your tent, then head for nearby Bear Lake and prepare for a stunning view. This deep, 20-mile-long natural lake straddling the Utah / Idaho border is nicknamed the "Caribbean of the Rockies" because of its turquoise water and white sand beaches. Fish, sail, Jet Ski and soak up the northeast Utah sun. If you're towing a boat, the marina is a mile north of KOA. Drive along Bear Lake Road, which rings the lake, or explore the many hiking, biking and four-wheeling trails. The campground also rents bicycles. KOA offers a heated pool and a wading pool for kids, as well as Ping-Pong, a Jumping Pillow and a playground. On summer weekends, hosts serve up the Hungry Bear pancake breakfast. Shop for fresh fixin's at the KOA grocery store.

My entire extended family and I have been coming here for the past 20 years for our family reunion every summer. We have always had a great time and never had any complaints. It's been really cool to see them grow the way they have the last few years! The workers are always friendly and helpful! I highly recommend camping here if you're looking for somewhere in the area or if you aren't looking and just want to get away from the everyday grind for a minute!

We have visited this KOA for several years now and every time we are more impressed than the last. The hosts do their best to make your stay enjoyable. Our visits have always been in the fall, so the location is very peaceful. They clearly take pride in their facility and strive to make improvements regularly. We highly recommend this facility for people looking for a home base to explore the Bear Lake area.

This is a great place to stay at Bear Lake. Very conveniently located near Garden City and the marina. It's not too far of a drive from the North Shore either. They have tons of games and activities here including a pool, bounce pillow, playground, basketball, pickleball, and shuffleboard courts. Tons of fun for kids and adults. Each cabin and trailer space has its own picnic table and small fire ring. Nice shower facilities. The cabins are simple but a good place to stay if you're not bringing your own trailer.

This park is VERY kid-friendly! There's an ACE hardware, a full grocery store, and bicycle rentals all on the property. The sites were well-shaded and there were enough bath houses that it wasn't too far of a walk. There were lots of tent campers along with RVs. There's a guy who drives an old 1950's tractor with multi-colored barrels attached to it like a train for the kids to ride in during the evenings. There was also a great dog park with agility equipment and poop bags. This is a great family park!!

Great place, nice staff. Probably the best RV park we have been to for kids, lots to do. It has a covered pavilion you can cook at with sinks etc. bike trail near by is awesome. Swimming pool was great if you want time away from your older kids. First place I have been that I didn't have to entertain my kids.
