Bear Country Kitchen carries an amazing variety of kitchen appliances, dish ware, knives, gadgets and gifts. Their staff are knowledgeable and friendly and their prices are comparable, or better than, box stores!! Love this store and you can shop online too.
I recently ordered a hard to find Le Creuset item that was out of stock at the big box stores and on the Le Creuset website. I was so happy to find a local business that carried the item. My order was processed very quickly and shipped by courier, arriving in just a few days. Shipping cost was very reasonable. The box was carefully packed with a hand written note and discount code, plus a little chocolate treat. I'll always check Bear Country Kitchen from now on before shopping at a chain store, very impressed with the service and selection.
I am all the way out near Ottawa and the Bear Country Kitchen was the only place that had the much sought after Le Creuset Goose Pot at the best price I could find! I purchased it on line and it was here in a matter of a coupe of weeks, and in perfect condition. Super happy with my first dealings with Bear Country Kitchen and I would 100% buy from them again!
I normally don't write reviews but wanted to share this experience. I bought a Le Creuset cast iron work online from Bear Country Kitchen and had it shipped. Wanted to thank the team for taking extra care in adding additional packaging inside the actual wok packaging to make sure it got to my home safely in Ontario. i didn't expect that but the additional thought and care was greatly appreciated! Stumbled across Bear Country Kitchen about a year ago when I moved apartments and needed to stock up on kitchenware. It is now my go-to for supplies, not only because of the quality products and competitive prices, but the customer service is hands down the best I've ever experienced. Thank you Dawn!

We placed an order and the customer service was above all expectations. From the ease of the website, to the email communication letting us know when the order was shipped. We received the order packaged above and beyond what is required for what we ordered, along with an actual till receipt / invoice and a hand written note thanking us for our order. Bear Country kitchen helped us with both our ski property and our lake home. Her prices were competitive and the choices were all high quality. We know that our condo kitchen gets high use and we haven't had to replace anything in over two years! Dawn's online store choices and the free delivery made shopping from another country easy and hassle free. Everything arrived exactly as it should have. Their friendly and knowledgeable help was outstanding. Bear Country Kitchen's staff is very experienced with both short stay and personal accommodation. I would highly recommend them for all your kitchen needs.
I placed an order at Bear Country Kitchen around Christmas-time last year. Their website was very easy to navigate and the order was processed and shipped quickly. Where I was truly impressed with Bear Country Kitchen was their customer service. I live in Ontario, so the package had to be sent across the country and Canada Post was unable to track it. I had ordered a pricier item and was concerned about when my package would arrive. I emailed Dawn from Bear Country Kitchen and she called me back that day with information about my package! It was so nice to know that she had taken the time to inquire about my items. When Canada Post failed to deliver my package a week later due to the holiday rush, Dawn once again went above and beyond to try to find my items they ended up being delivered soon after. I really appreciated the time Dawn took to help me and will definitely be ordering from Bear Country Kitchen again!
