Beanz Espresso Bar

Went in for a breakfast. Place looked interesting. While looking at the menu one of the employees was standing by the register giving us a dead stare, very uncomfortable, especially that we needed few minutes to decide what to order. Ordered breadless breakie and breakfast burrito. I watched the employee microwave both orders. If I wanted microwaved food, I would have went elsewhere. While waiting for the food I noticed another employee moving cookies around with her bare hands, unsanitary! Breadless breakie was horrible, avocado spread was old, lemony and very watery. Entire dish had no flavor.

A nice little cafe with good food options. The macchiato I had was rich, syrupy, and delicious. The house lemonade is sweet with a wonderfully strong lemony-ness. The staff are friendly and the service is quick.

Slightly over priced for just average latte and Canadiana. Staff was very friendly and they had a good selection of desserts. Good for grabbing coffee on the go but wish they used better quality cups instead of cheap diner containers.

Went with my family for a bit of a treat when my uncles came to visit from Australia. Loved their Cheesecake! It also had such a home-like atmosphere. And their bathrooms were really clean, a feature I always think is important. They also had excellent music! So that's what all the fuss is about!

Very rude staff member! I ordered the vegan option and while I was waiting for my food in front of her she went on talking to another staff member saying the reason why vegans don't eat honey is the dumbest thing she ever heard. Terrible customer service and very offensive to your vegan customers. Also staff need to be educated on vegan & gluten free restrictions. Being vegan has nothing to do with being gluten free... probably good to educate staff if your offer vegan options on your menu. I won't be back.

This restaurant is a gem! The staff is very knowledgeable and accommodating! The food is delicious and they have wonderful gluten free soup and sandwich options! I would go back here in a heartbeat! I had great mint tea here too!

A colleague of mine ordered some sandwich trays, salads, and squares for a work meeting. The day of the meeting, we received an invoice that included a $120 fruit tray that we had never ordered. When I called the owner, he was very rude and insisted that the fruit tray had been part of the original order and had already been made so we would have to pay for it. He then provided me with a false order form. Thankfully we provided the correct original order form and he eventually corrected the mistake. The food that we did order was overpriced and bland. Cheap sandwiches, a couple of salads, and some dry squares. Would not recommend.

Ordered a spinach salad which has an egg. Arrived with no egg. What?! After going back to the counter to ask for the egg it appeared 3 minutes later from a server with no apology whatsoever. Very poor how difficult is it to do a spinach salad with egg?! The good thing is that they have free water in jugs, a nice touch. Nice patio too.

Had a weird experience. They had a menu item on their sign, yet no one that worked seem to know what it was. It was just a smoothie. It wasn't a communication issue as they repeated it back correctly and even asked other staff members... No one knew about the smoothie on their sign. I was even with another person and we even showed them their sign written in chaulk... Still had no clue they served that item... Also never erased It in the half an hour we were present. Must be some miscommunication going on with the staff. Was very disorganized... Ended up getting just a coffee, though they did seem to have some cool veggie options... Assuming, you can actually order them... Maybe those items are just for show too.

A beautiful yet cozy coffee shop with a range of seating options that help you drink in the art around you. Lots of friendly faces and the food service is top notch. A place where regulars are referred to by name and you feel as though you have made a new friend when ordering your coffee tea or lunch. Beanz is a must on your trip to the island for sure!
