Christie and another newer employee were on shift and I have to say, they were so lovely and helpful! Not only does this store have AMAZING selection of super hard-to-find coffee syrups, but I also got help choosing an espresso machine that would best suit my needs. I don’t live in Toronto but I am still going to go out of my way to only shop here for my coffee needs moving forward. Thanks so much!

I only came here because I was looking for curaçao non alcoholic syrup and it was hard to find in a real store vs online. They had it from the Monin brand and an incredible amount of other flavored syrups. You could use it for coffee or cocktails / mocktails or even just to flavor your water. It’s a coffee and tea shop. The staff was available to help and offered me multiple times to try some samples. Good experience.

Great service. The gentleman working there was very attentive and explained the beans. He even made us a sample espresso to try. The beans are decently priced, so we picked out two small bags. I would say the beans aren't the best quality if you are trying to make tasty espresso at home. We are disappointed with the overall quality of the beans.

Large selection, very helpful staff. Quite pricey compared to my usual place. Do NOT buy the Pumpkin coffee. All you can smell and taste is cloves, along with a chemical taste. It's about to be tossed in the garbage. I just can't drink this

It use to be a furniture store and last year it became Beanwise. I sauntered into the store to be joyously greeted by Karen, the founder's daughter. Her father has been in the bean business for over two decades and this was their third store. She rhymed of a list of coffee beans i could sample. So many beans to try and so little time to indulge. "I thought that the building was being demolished." I said. "No," she responded with a large smile. "We just signed another one year lease." Do try the beans before the building is gone.

The staff were rude and made me feel like I wasn’t welcome in the store. I used to go to the old location and purchased items a number of times. I liked speaking with the owner who was so nice. But the place has gone downhill. I was there today looking to purchase a few syrups, but the staff was so rude and judgemental. It was so hard to find anyone to even acknowledge me. When the staff finally asked me what I was looking for, I described what I wanted. The staff didn’t understand me and looked at me like I was dumb for answering her question. When she finally understood, I asked her to take me to where the product was, but she refused and pointed in a general direction. In another instance, I was standing in the aisle and another staff member rudely said, “you’re in my way!” My partner was also in the store looking around, and one staff rudely said, “can I help you?” in a tone implying that casual browsing wasn’t allowed. I found the products I was looking for but didn’t purchase them based on how I was treated.

I usually buy my coffee here but I don't think I'll be coming back. The staff changed since the old location and the cashier is pretty rude. I was buying a new french press 53 + tax and I requested to open the box so I can see if everything looked ok inside. She was annoyed I even asked that. I'm spending over 50 dollars. The least you can do is let me look at the thing I am purchasing.

I’d give extra stars if I could! Came here to buy a bunch of syrups for custom cocktails we plan on serving at our wedding. The employees were so kind and helpful, showing us all the flavours and even sampling for us some of them till we knew exactly what to pick. They didn’t have enough stock for one of the flavours and so they arranged to get it from one of their other locations! I’m going to recommend everyone to come here for drink syrups and other drink needs!

I placed an online order on June 28th and got free same day shipping. Excellent service - thank you! I bought Nespresso compatible coffee capsules and they are really good at a great price. I also love the selection of Monin syrups available. I bought some Fellow Carter travel mugs from the Mississauga store. I'm very happy with them. I highly recommend Beanwise to all coffee enthusiasts!!
